The Wheel brings memories of the year that is done,

Of the turning seasons and the path of the Sun.



At Yule we watched the life’s new spark

Glowing and growing in winter’s dark.



At Imbolc, Brighid was welcomed in,

Goddess of the arts and messenger of spring.



Ostara’s Hare brought eggs and the Sun,

It was time to grow, the light had won.



At Beltane we danced around Jack-in-the-Green,

And crowned with flowers was the Goddess Queen.



The Sun at Litha was at it’s height,

But the Holly King did win the fight.



Lammas brought harvest and the first baked bread,

But the Goddess mourned, the God was dead.



Mabon celebrated harvest home,

The corn all stored, the year’s work done.



At Samhain we welcome the unseen guest.

The wheel has turned, it’s time to rest.



These are the memories of the Sabbat Wheel.

May they bring joy, and the sadness heal.

We send out thanks for success and pleasure,

And take the lessons as jewels to treasure.

Wondrous Lady of the Moon

You who greets the dusk with silvered kisses;

Mistress of the night and of all magics,

who rides the clouds in blackened skies

and spills light upon the cold Earth;

O Lunar Goddess,

Crescented-One,

Shadow maker and shadow breaker;

Revealer of mysteries past and present;

Puller of seas and ruler of women;

All-wise Lunar Mother,

I greet Your celestial jewel

at the waxing of it's powers

With a rite in Your honor.
