Bridal sets?????

OMG... at 46 I am still single. I had given up on getting married and decided to go on a dating site several years ago. To see what was out there. To make a "hook up" if nothing else.

I met Bill off a website. We got together....it was casual dating at first. He lived in Chattanooga. I lived in Kentucky. His parents however, lived the next small town over. He wanted someone to see while he was in town. No problem.

Then we got more serious. We dated for almost five years. It was tough with him so far away. Then......for whatever reason....he stopped...stopped calling...visiting...nothing.

This went on for a little over a year.

Then boom...he called...wanted to meet. Wanted to move here and pick things up again.

After venting everything I had thought in that year apart. I agreed to a trial basis. See what happens.

I did set a few ground rules. (I did learn a thing or two from the experience.)

To shorten this story...he moved to Kentucky, moved in with me, and has been here a bit over three months.

It has been a wild ride for me. Going from single for 46 years to someone in my space all the time.

In his favor, he has helped make the transition for me pretty easy.

And tonight......he suggested I look at bridal sets online. Engagement and wedding ring set. Huh!

Well....ok then.

I picked out a few...to give him some ideas.

Wow....

SO.....now you know what I have been doing these last few months and why I have not been online much. Grins......can you believe it??

Wanders off with a shocked grin on her face....

Just for the record. I was willing, awake, and it was early (8:00 am).....and Rat cancelled the day out for photo shooting.

Granted she was sick......but still.....Grins.

*cough hack cough* Don't worry- the old school, gas station has been there for many years... they will be there in a few weekends from now.

And thank you sis for giving up a day for me to take pictures. You and Cat are the best sisters.

I have so much on my plate that I can not spare any time for you. I know that is a bit selfish of me but you will just have to deal with it.

After all....you are supposed to be at MY beck and call.....not the other way around.

Hello there. Nice to "see" you. It's been a long time.

I know. I should have talked to you more. But, you know how life gets. It's like a whirlwind sometimes.

I hear ya! Yes life is like that. It seems the older we get the faster it goes too. Uh huh!

Ok......fine...I have no real excuses. At least none that I want to talk about right now. Maybe at a later date. But right now....tell me about you.
