I hate passwords... I'm also doing super good if I can even remember my user id on half the sites I frequent.

My LAST day at the hospital...after 20 years.

After 20 years working at the inpatient psych unit, today was my last day.

Layoffs are coming there and I was to be one of them. I would rather go my way, so I resigned.

I learned so much there. I loved working with the patients. I made life long friends that have become like family.

Today I thought about people from the past, coworkers and patients. I made a difference there. Not everyone can say that about the things they do.

I took pictures of the unit and of my name badge before I turned it in. It was hard to do. I will miss working there.

When I came home. My new, wonderful, hubby, Bill took me out to dinner and surprised me with a dozen red roses when we got back home. I do love that man.

And thus a chapter of my life is closed. Ultimately, I am content, for I can honestly say...

I made a DIFFERENCE.

Good for you. Most people are in an "I" mindset. I don't meet many that are trying to help others. Good for you hon.

"I made a DIFFERENCE"... that is the most we can ever hope for in our lives. Your work without a doubt helped people, and if you're every looking for new patience I've got a few I could refer :)
