MY PEN IS MY PROZAC



My pen is my Prozac

I shall not want;

It makes me write down my inadequacies.

It leads me to self-discovery,

restores my soul,

and leads me onto the road less traveled

For my spirit’s sake.



Yea though I walk through my deepest and darkest hours,

I fear no evil thoughts;

though they are with me,

my pen and my paper, they comfort me.



I prepare a book to remember these days in the presence of the internet

My readers anoint me with fan mail;

my cup runneth over with joy.



Surely goodness and mercy will follow me

all the days of my life;

and I shall write down and review my progress

forever and ever
