Today the morning sun shone in pleasant splendor as I engaged in my weekly routine of smelling the fresh cut grass.

The light was intense, but the temperature was too cool to be anything but surreal compared to the intense brightness of the morning star.

As I stepped outside, I felt the warm rays of the morning star wash over my face and I could actually feel the countenance of Lucifer staring in glorious splendor.

The language of his light told me to look to my right, and I saw, in utter amazement, a creature of such beauty that I stopped and I truly desired her.

I... desired.

I have not felt desire since first being offered immortality in exchange for my soul.

Did Lucifer take mercy upon me?

Did the morning Sun awaken a sleeping giant?

The cursed giant taste of desire. Ever so close. Just at the tip of my moistened tongue.

Wanting, and the closer I become with the object of my affection-

The more tortuous it becomes to not obtain that which I desire.

DESIRE

I then felt my mouth become wet with passion as I began to reach out my hand to this angelic and innocent creature, and I smiled and I said,

Hello, my name is Dorian. Would you like to accompany me while we walk among the honeysuckle, morning dew, and fresh cut grass? Cum and smell the beauty with me... I must have your company!

I suddenly began to pay close attention to her lips. At first so soft and supple, but slowly they began to change, much like my horrid abomination of a portrait that is my most prized possession.

She was becoming human.

As she gazed upon my face her look of surprise and lust was all too familiar.

She opened her mouth as if to speak and I could feel the arid dry crisp of uncomfortable bewilderment overtake what was once the only object of my desire.

And then, she became ordinary.

She became like all the others.

Blinded by my beauty and engorged with desire.

A desire that I so long to feel.

So I bid her good day, and I walked away....
