What’s on the agenda for today:
Do schoolwork.
Clean hamster’s cage. (Jason is nearing 2 years old and doing excellent).
Laundry
Bike 30+ miles.
Find an interesting documentary to watch.
Continue listening to my Cary Grant audiobook.
Solid plan.
I just need to start carving out some time for piano lessons… It’s been nearly a year and I have not been able to keep up with it due to all the other things I’m doing. There is more time in a day to accomplish all the things I want to do rather I think so or not. Time for me to start using a whiteboard and setting alarm clocks for tasks. If you truly want to do something, you’ll do it.
How many times have you observed someone wishing and praying for something to happen for them... for years even... and then when it happens, they bitch about everything that's wrong with it. Jobs, moving to new places, more...
I have some things to get sorted in my world- but I am not losing sight of the gratitude for a good lot of things I have manifested. I'm not perfect- I slip, but then I look at my vision board. I have erased a lot and replaced those words with thank yous, because they HAPPENED.
What you think about you bring about. This can go in either direction. When I changed my mindset- things started working out left and right.

hear, hear.
Absolutely well said!
Great only you can change your destiny. For I hope all is not pre ordained to your grave
School and exercise- it’s what’s keeping me motivated these days. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy learning about this field. And because our weather here in New Orleans is so crappy (either way too hot or it’s raining)… I get on my stationary recumbent bike and ride for a really long time while I’m binge watching a good TV show. I am now looking at TV shows and movies from a very different perspective- someone who is analyzing the scripts.
I decided to rewatch the TV series “Mad Men”, I will get around 16 miles on the bike with just one episode. I have it on a pretty solid resistance so I’m definitely getting a good workout.
This is the final week of this course and I will be able to joi the Honor Society (you have to have completed eight months in school before you apply, and have the required GPA level). I’m really happy about this because there are students far ahead in their programs as well as graduates that I can talk to you about courses to come that I am dreading – like math, lol. I don’t want my GPA to drop because of that. I’d love to talk about what I can expect and then get on Khan Academy and study my ass off before that class happens.

Oh I feel ya on the math.... I think math is one of the biggest reasons I don't seek to further my education with online courses..... I loathe and despise it. It has always been my weak point. I see other people understand a problem that I am sitting there looking at and it looks like Chinese to me while they are moving along steadily and then it makes me feel stupid that I can't sort it out!
I am so glad that you are enjoying school! It sounds like joining the Honor Society is super helpful!
Awesome to hear. Congratulations! And super glad to know that we might get some fresh talent to help us while away the hours in the recliner. ;)
One day! My nom de plume will be in lights.
