I don't watch music videos. I gave up on MTV around 1992. They went 80% rap and on top of it, they started to play videos for only about half of their programming day.



Plus I feel music is to be heard, not viewed.



I remember the first time I heard the group Live. 1994... Throwing Copper. It's hard to believe that was over 11 years ago. They were really special. They re-infused rock-n-roll. The genre had become overly saturated with Nirvana-inspired Seattle grunge/Alternative crap that was good in 1989-1992, but which was really starting to get old.



Throwing Copper was Live's 4th album. No one had been paying them any attention. As a result, they didn't believe their own success. Even after Throwing Copper went double platinum, the band was still working 9-5 jobs. They had been poor for so long, and they were certain the album's success was a temporary fluke.



This all added to the likability of the group. They were down-to-earth with a great work ethic.



Eventually they started touring and reaping the benefits of their success.



Anyway, I stole this from Alilyanna's journal. It's a music video by Live. It's pretty creepy if you really watch it. Lead singer Ed Kowalczyk really does a great job.

I don't think most people realize how aggressively VR deletes inactive accounts. Other sites will leave inactive member accounts in an effort to boost their membership stats. VR membership numbers are very accurate, meaning of our 4000+ members, the vast majority of them come here on a regular basis.



As I write this, VR has had 12,839 member sign up's. With over 60% being automatically deleted for inactivity, that shows just how aggressive VR's inactivity deletion policy is...

Last night I watched the season 3 premiere of one of my favorite shows, Nip/Tuck.



It might not have been such a good idea to eat dinner while watching the show. About half-way through, one of the doctors comes across a 500+ pound woman who has been sitting on the couch since 2002. She can't move, so she just goes to the bathroom on the couch. After 3 years of this, her skin fuses to the sofa.



It was all rather disgusting...



However, there was a brilliant reward in store if you managed to make it past the gluttonous couch potato... The best porn I've ever seen....



Christian, the other doctor who has a libido that parallels my own, was in bed with a woman. It was all going nicely, and then his girlfriend came home.



She was furious! Christian didn't say anything. He just held out his hand and gave her a look. She just stands there with a confused expression on her face for a few moments... Then she whips off her top, jumps into bed, and starts making out with the other woman.



FX is turning into the Spice channel...

I was watching boxing tonight. Something that really stood out was the boxer's stats. In particular, reach.



Reach is measured from the armpit to the closed fist.



The biggest boxer I watched tonight was Wladimir Klitschko. He's 6'6" with a reach of 26". Most of the boxers had a reach of 24" or less.



My height and reach: 6'1" and 27".



People just don't get it when I say that I have abnormally long arms. It's impossible to wear anything close to my size in long sleeve.



The only people that truly understand my reach are my tennis opponents. Most have come to understand it's just about impossible to hit one over my head if I am attacking the net ;)

I didn't see anything in the FAQ about sending you messages... I know your busy but I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for building such an awesome database, it has tons of great things! I love it!



I'm a writer and I was looking for information about vampires for my story when I ran into these pages. At first I didn't get it, but after I spent a while roaming the pages, reading and rating profiles and such, well I guess I fell in love with it.



Not only did I get to find tons of information in one site (so I don't have to bounce all over the place) but I get to talk to lots of really cool interesting people. There's awesome topics in the forum and the variety of the peoples are amazing.



So again, I just wanted to say thank you, and I pray this message doesn't infuriate you.

I don't need to be agreed with. In fact, I rarely expect it. What I do expect is logical and rational deduction. I expect the ability to exist within others to see the opposing point of view.



Most of the time I am disappointed.



This thread shows how narrow-minded most people are. How incapable people are of getting beyond basic knee-jerk emotional responses.



Most of the posts are irrational, illogical, and altogether poorly thought out. I miss conversation of depth and responses that are thought out, properly punctuated, and spell checked.

I sensed and then saw a non-corporeal entity this evening. Once the entity discovered I was aware of its presence it quickly fled.



It was not a ghost and I am fairly certain it wasn't a spirit. It was something much more malevolent. It had been sent on an errand.
