I've got one more section to complete on Power Punks, then the site is done. I'm still sorting out numerous 'minor' issues with the site. I probably won't have the final section done until close to Christmas. I've just got so much other work going on right now.

After Power Punks is completed, I'll be launching a new Dark Network site rather quickly. I'm keeping the name private for now, but it should only take me 3-5 days to finish the site after Power Punks is done.

This new site won't have any new features. It's basically a reskin. Its focus will be Journals.

Then I move onto a new project. I'll be reworking Acrimony.org and I'll be bringing it into the Dark Network. The biggest revision, will be the addition of a new articles module. Similar to VR articles, but much more robust. Acrimony will turn into a true eZine. There will be sections that members can take on full-time (advice collums, horoscopes, events, etc) if they're interested.

There's a lot of potential with Acrimony, which is why I moved up its production. The site shouldn't take too long to complete.. Maybe 15-20 days.

I know a lot of people are waiting on the launch of Gothic Invasion. There's a reason I keep moving it down the production line. Gothic Invasion will offer *a lot* of new features. As a result, it will require *a lot* of programming. It's probably going to take me 2+ months to complete... Which is why I am launching all of these 'easier' sites now.

I go back to Arizona State for my final semester in January (I took the summer and fall off). I plan on working on Gothic Invasion throughout the semester, and hopefully finish it before I graduate. I only have two classes, so my school work load will be light.

These sites are awesome. I love the new features of Power Punks, there is still that "VR touch" that makes it easy to navigate but some really sweet new features.

Plus the little talking dude is awesome :P

I am guilty as charged when it comes to waiting for Gothic Invasion. Really, I'm excited to see whatever you create, it's always something different and more than I expected.

Thumbs up, you rule dude. Thank you!

Sweet. :)

For the other sites, they'll get up there soon. SciFi is hardly a month old and is receiving a good grade, so I have no doubts for that PP will be rocking soon.

Excellent work :-) I have noticed in the past that VR is really well set up for SEO purposes, and you're obviously doing well in other areas too :-)

Do you have any background in SEO or other online marketing, or do you hire consultants?

Considering that Sci Fi and power punks haven't been open a month, that is doing pretty good.

The Forum

Right now all Dark Network sites share a common public Forum. If in the future, I see usage in each site to be such that it warrants its own public Forum, each site will get it.

Right now the Forum is set up this way for a couple of reasons. The biggest is that admin administration is easier. But I can set up each site with its own public forum fairly easily.

so does this mean you will be needing some more admins in the future possibly? *hint hint* lol

I don't see why it would be necessay for each to have their own forum. SFS has it's own Events section and Announcements section, and there's very little of interst in the Sandbox here on VR. The only section of importance is the General Category and that isn't as active as it once was.

Just my opinion.
