It's finally here, my favorite month of the whole year. The veil between the worlds is growing thinner and the air holds a trace of magick. October makes me feel so alive and hyper aware of everything. The wind carries the voices of the dead through the changing leaves of the trees as they prepare for slumber. The night is alive as the shadows dance in the pale glow of the moon. And I love every second of it. October has a certain feeling that nothing else can match. I feel at home here. And as we draw ever closer to samhain, the witch's new year, I can't help but sit back and reflect on the year that has passed and how fast it has flown. Time moves far too quickly, and we're all just along for the ride.
