I'm not really sure how many of you know anything about the Amish community, but just let me say this. Those people are amazing. They're so devoted to what they are and how they are what they are. I was up in Nashville a few weeks ago in a bus station heading towards Oklahoma, and I saw quite a few Amish people there. Alot of people looked at them as if they didn't belong; as if they were aliens. I'm a firm believer in the motto: To each their own. I like to see myself as an uncommonly open minded person. Granted that what I believe and what they believe as far as religious views are completely different, but it's just amazing to see someone so devoted to that life that they've made. Sometimes, I wish things would go back to the way they were before all of the corruption in this country. This country was built by open minded people, and yet, as we've grown as a country and as a general population, we've become progressively close-minded, corrupt, money hungry, and power hungry. In the process, we've harmed ourselves, alternate countries, our children, and our planet. And the Amish remain. They make their own goods, they grow their own food, they are devout to their own god and morals. These are the types of people that founded this country. The Amish are AMAZING!
