So, I was looking through some old stuff of mine from back in HS and I find this poem that I was apparently working on...so be kind...this unfinished poem is over 15 yrs old...lol





The best things in life aren't easy

at least, that's what people say



I used to understand that phrase

that is, until today



You make me cry with happy tears

you keep my fears at bay



You make me smile; you make me laugh

each and every day.



I have 4 more lines but they are out of synche. The flow is backwards





You always know just what to say

to make each day a perfect one



Even when the sky is gray

your smile to me is like the sun.
