When I went out for a whiskey, with a friend

I learnt stuff of me, which illuminated my vision



~ didn't know I still get so nervous, at times.

~ didn't know I still felt so vulnerable, at times.



Or even, that my chip, is a chip shop, still.

Before a guy deigns to criticise

someone, he should first look

in a mirror that tells no lies: ‘coz

then before he talks of the length

of a skirt, or a shirt with buttons

undone, more than testosterone

will allow; they might just come

to realise the depth of their own

personal shallow.
