Death is a welcome thing
I usher Him in and the peace He brings
If I live to tomorrow
I will tell you how I feel
I stare Death in the face
I laugh at His smile
so out of place
I watch as He unveils His knife
I pray that He takes my life
I laugh as He pulls it across my arm
the blood trickles down
I feel the release and I beg for more
I hope He will make it slow
the pain feels good and helps releive stress
All the days events released into the night
never will they bother me again
the blade moves across my skin
and writes a name
the name of him
I didn't expect this to be my torture
He will not let me die
I beg Him to finish it then and there
He smiles and laughs
He doesn't care
He walks away leaving a painful reminder
A love that left
his name stays with me
My only way to remember him
remember him through the pain
the pain he caused
the love he did not share
I loved him once
he did not care
he threw me away
like a leaf in the wind
and to him I'll return
never again.
