I was wondering if you would like to talk about Near Death Experiences?
I have had more than a few "close calls," but I was once electrocuted, badly. It was not until a lucid dream a few months later, as well as years of understanding all the series of events that have happened to me. That I actually, and truly understood what had happened to me.
So, let us share, please! I am urging all who read this to comment their thoughts on this subject.
Are near death experiences real? Or, are they just some other conscious reaction to the brain stimulus upon being killed?
That came out wrong. I believe, I want to know if you believe.
It is okay not to believe, but why do you not believe? Convince me to change my thoughts, please! (LOL)
I love the facts that I have learned about thyself, through "Knowing Thyself!"
I hope to hear from you, and if there are any questions about my NDE. I would be happy to share in this forum. All you need to do is ask. Thank you and take care. Be well, be alive, help others, help yourself!

I've avoided a lot of situations by not being in the wrong place at the right time. I must have 9 lives. It's actually kind of freaky.
Care to elaborate? I am thankful for what you have shared. I am not saying I do not appreciate it, I was just wondering more? For, I have made choices that have put me in/out of danger more than once as well.
My near death experience happened on September 30, 2010. It was the day after I had given birth to my youngest son. I got out of the hospital bed and fell to the ground hemorrhaging. I seen myself laying there and my first husband was by the window holding out his hand. In the distance I heard my son crying and could see the look in his eyes as if he knew what was going on. Next thing I knew a team of doctors and nurses were rushing me to OR. I think there was a reason I was pulled back and that is my son. He has changed my life more than he will ever know, he is my rock and all of the problems he has had he keeps a smile on his face everyday. I feel that something some force knew that there was something not right with him and that he needed me more than anything else.
Thank you so much for sharing. Have you though deeper into the mysteries surrounding your experience? Does your son ever recall anything from the experience? I mean, I know he was young, but we never forget. It is just hard to remember sometimes.
I would love to know someday if he does remember. He is non-verbal, just beginning to talk in full sentences now. He turned 5 in September. He is reading beyond a 2 grade level already but as for thoughts and memories it is almost as he is robotic and if they exist he does not know how to share his own thoughts on the matter. Hopefully someday
I had one near death experience the week of the winter solstice. I was experiencing heart pain and I was pretty sure I was going to die but I didn't go to the hospital, I laid down after giving an offering to Zeus and I was ready to die at home.
I had a lucid dream, I was lying there starting at my altar and Jupiter and the Three Graces were standing in front of altar having a conference and then they walked towards me laying there staring at them and told me to "wake up".
I woke up and my heart was still hurting at that point, but it gradually faded and stopped then.
I have wondered if it was a kind of shaman's death.
I once was involved in DV (Domestic Violence) and was beaten quite often pretty bad...let's just say he put me in the hospital more than once and knew that if I didn't leave him he'd kill me one day. Anyway, one of those times he hit me so hard my ears rang and slumped into a black unconciousness...during my "blackout" I distinctly remember floating about a HUGE crowd of people and was going towards a HUGE man sitting in a throne like chair and the people looked small. There was a loud buzzing sound and it was dark but only the people were aglow in a bluish white light....he said something and then I returned to my concious state in the hospital. Is this a figment of my own creation or was I really meeting the man upstairs ? or the man downstairs? I don't know but I can say I have never forgotten it and it gives me chills everytime I think about it. Been years since I thought about it until now that I wondered here into the forum....
I haven't had any near death experiences, but I have been in situations where I should of been seriously hurt but wasn't.
I haven't had a NDE but my son has. And from what he told me was that he saw a man reach out for him trying to soothe him but he told the man that he was needed, that he still had work to do. He told me that he told the man that he would not leave me until his job was done. My son flat lined 3 times within one year and each time he had this same experience. He said the man told him it was okay to let go but he refused to leave.
After that my son said he was able and is still able to see Angels.
I have been close to death. I was hospitalized for congestive heart failure, but near death as in physically dead for a short period of time, not really. I guess the closest I came to that was when they tested my implanted diffibrilator. They stop your heart to make sure the device shocks you back, but I wasn't conscious for that. I simply went to sleep, woke back up and they said the test was done.
I overdosed twice.
I don't recommend it to the faint of heart.
I didn't see anything.
No dead relatives.
No light.
No lake of fire.
Nothing
I had a NDE back in 1985, after the birth of my first Son. I'd rather not get into the "how." But I was almost gone. I remember floating, and everything was fuzzy. I could hear my Son's cry's off in a distance, and echoing like it was far away. Then all I could see was white. I guess it was almost a day later that I woke up. I was totally freaked out when I woke up. I thought my baby had died. I didn't realize it was me.
I didn't see anyone. I think its because I wasn't supposed to go yet.
I have had a lot of NDE in my life so far and i am pretty sure I will have a lot more
Well i was told durring my surgery they lost me for a min but all i remember is black just seeing black like i was in a small room and i woke up and they told me i lost my baby so thats mine.
mine was when i was 8yrs old i was ran over and pinned under a car for almost two hours, by the time i got to the hospital i had lost tons of blood, being a small child this was a big issue, i had to have a couple surgeries, and was put on life support
Simply put it is the mind running "software" once oxygen depletes, and other factors kick in. Test pilots in centrifuge (the spinning thing) when they hit about 8.2 Gs go black out, upon debriefing they often swear they were out for 3 to 5 minutes, they all speak of emerged "visions" more intense then a deep dream. I have had my "vision". Ifigured out how my mind collected it to present it. I have more thoughts. You can message me. I don't want to change anyones mind, just give them the tools to contemplate.
i think i had one, once i smoked to much ganja and then drank to much jack and seen a light and when i came to my chest hurt because someone had pumped my chest by doing cpr
I've had quite a few, but it doesn't really bother me. The way I look at it, no matter how much death seems to enjoy flirting with me, it's never pulled through on its love interest, so to speak. The end result, is that often times, I've debated on whether or not to write an open letter to death, suggesting that it either shit or get off the pot.
Yes when I was six I fell out of a truck bed my dad was driving. I hit my head. I was rushed to the hospital and am told I died on the way there. I was in a coma for week, drug inducted I had swelling on the brain. My mom said when I woke up that I told her I was with Auntie May, her sister that died 3 years prior. I said Aunt May would not let me stay in the pretty place and walked me back home. I do not remember saying that to this day. My dad claims he herd me saying it too.
I have had health situations that triggered seizures and one was so bad that I was told that I flatlined while the medics were present. My family told me that I was coming out of it. I was begging to leave with relatives long dead. I have no real memory of it. Other than that had times where I should of or could of died but did not.
I believe NDEs are totally real. There seems to be many reports from many cultures. I personally have had several experiences. I really enjoy learning about all kinds of metaphysical "phenomena".
I almost drowned at big splash waterpark, ..I went to the deep end and swam to the bottom the wave machine suction caught my arm on the grate., broke free and swam to the surface nobody knew...nobody saw ..didn't tell anyone
