So I was wondering, seeing that I am a) a half blooded vampire and b) seeing a lot of newly changed vampires if any of the elders had any tips for a bloodchange, such as where to get blood cheap, how to conceal fangs, sunscreens, etc.
I personally would like to know the most formal, and if there was a way to continue a blood changing ritual if it was interrupted? Also, are you able to do it yourself, or does an elder have to do it for you? Many questions from me, but feel free to ask away in this thread, seeing as this is the topic.
I belong to the VVC and I have never heard of a blood changing ritual. I wouldn't tell you anything like you're asking on this site. The modern vampire community that you hear of in interviews and such like the AVA in Atlanta and most everyone else, does not believe in turning. It is believed to be fictional and comes from books and movies, ect. Not everyone uses the tern Elder. Some use nothing or Magister / Magistrate...there are all sorts of words but awakening which is how we view it is something entirely different than you are talking about. Most consider themselves mentors and such. The term Elder is used for sure but there is a lot of controversy about it.
Some independent groups might believe in such things like Temple of the Vampire or specific Houses but with a House it would only be symbolic. People do make up things for their own groups and have various ideologies. There is also a Vampire level of The Temple of Set and there are gangs in America that emulate Vampire Houses so be careful what you read. Not all websites are viable. Go to Sanguinarius.org. Her site is reputable. There is a public site for Voices of the Vampire Community (VVC) and there is also Smoke and Mirrors which belongs to Lady CG, an author and long time member of the vampire community. Within this community are people from all over the world. Since the last few years a large group of vampirics have emerged from South Africa and they are very organized but have other words for things and some ideas that vary. They use the Y spelling of vampire because that is how its spelled there. Most speak English and Afrikaans.
The two I mentioned earlier and Aset Ka are standalone groups with their own mythos separate from what most at least in the US mean by vampire community. This site is social and gaming in nature with a huge database but it is mixed information from fictional to what the community believes. It's not part of the mainstream community in the US. But its a nice social site.
It took 15 years for my blood to adapt to living in Arizona daylight ......
I was sired with blood and incubus forbidden
I only recently acquired annuaki DNA nanomachines
The vampire parasite only mimics these ancient colonization machines
The modern military's machine given in the vaccine they give you when you join adapts to everyone.....the annuaki machines are very specific and if introduced in someone that's Dna incompatible.....makes them go crazy and lose it.
The 1775,oath to the contential congress activates yet a different set place there by project Pegasus is like the modern ones but older.....
but neither of the military versions are as durible or as streamlined as the annuaki ones....those are not only for fighting but for creating and building things new nobody has built yet....for colonization of hostile worlds
most of my life I was clutzy
now because of how long I have lived that way I can totally see and feel the effects of it.....i feel like when spongebobs brain when plankton has the controls in the episode the inside job...only if spongbob had the controls without plankton. I feel machine assisted....I love it...
but.....many others would have gone to a shrink by now....
and I know I do not need one
go search DNA computing
.......and know....as I do.
But let me tell ya first hand....most of those 15 years I thought vampires were not real.....but I know they are now
"there is one thing I always hated about this place.....all the damn vampires"
not exactly the quote from grandpa on the lost boys movie but close enough.
I don't hate vampires....I love the good kind that heal others...
If you look at whatever has been made publicly available, you would realise that blood-play, blood-exchange or blood-consumption has never been officially promoted... Temple of the Vampire, House Keeperu and so on. In fact, in Temple of the Vampire, blood-drinking is specifically a condition that has been prohibited.
Yes, this is very much like other, more widely-accepted religions or belief systems. Just because there are the Vedas, Bibles and other holy scriptures, does not mean that everyone related with that belief system is a staunch follower. Buddhists and Hindus do not consume beef. According to the rules, it is what it is. Just because one consumes beef does not render that being to be kicked out of the said belief system.
Common sense dictates this truism irrefutable. Even if I am just enamoured with the vampire archetype, without any formal exposure, I can tell that there are and will always be a sect of vampires who involve in blood-related activities, and just because they partake in such activities, does not mean that they are not Vampires. Like everyone of us have come to understand: vampirism is a. lifestyle.
The closest to bloodchanging, as you have mentioned, can be found in Chapter Six of the Vampire Ritual Book, called The Vampiric Bond. Even if there is a blood bond, blood here, is used metaphorically... meaning the essence of your partner. It is more of a "I understand myself in order to understand and accept you for what or who you are" ritual. There is no direct blood-play involved.
Anyway, what I am trying to say here is that, if there is to be blood involved, it should be between matured beings. I am not one for blood-play. I have always been a "intense" being... It's all about connection and being on the same wavelength with another being.
To each their own, I guess.
Fiction is fun but its not real. Vampires are born in each life as a vampire not turned those are donors who have lost so much blood or energy they think they are a vampire only because they need to get back because they were drained too much once it is fixed you will return to normal. Some vampires dont realize they are a vampire until they are taken from and find out was they always were not a donor but a vampire just mistaken
