Following the events of Castlevania:Lords of Shadow, Mirror of Fate follows the legacy and adventures of Gabriel Belmont's secret son; Trevor, and grandson; Simon. Simon Belmont travels to the castle of the new dark lord, Dracula, to discover the secrets behind the disappearance of his father Trevor and to gain revenge for the death of his mother at the hands of Dracula's minions. Along the way, he is aided by the mysterious Alucard who has an agenda all his own, and a dark and bitter secret that binds him to both the darkness and the light.
