~Incident~

Okay I have had a minor incident with a teenager's mother on this site about biting her son. A bite is not a come on with me and I do not have the time with my busy work schedule to check the age of every member. I have never been one to demand the rave set an age limit for members, but if members who are not attempting to date anyone on the site are going to get complaints about biting someone younger when they did not know their age, perhaps it should be considered. I do not like Internet relationships. For some, they work. For me, they are not something I get involved in. I am thirty-six years old and prefer guys who are legal. I do not go for the younger crowd and in my humble opinion, those in their twenties are the yonger crowd. So, if you are a teenager , I am not interested in you. My son, Malcolm , is 12. He will not have a rave account at fifteen, because he is not going to be ready for it. What others allow with their children is really none of my business. For future reference, if you have a concern with something I did, please message me. My coven master is a personal friend in real life, not just on the Internet. Their life is too busy and complicated to be dealing with things a grown-up could take to another grown adult. Mikhail is not a refree or babysitter. IF you need one of those, please contact your local daycare.

I felt the need to add this after I had to block a whelp who got all upset that I bit him or her. First of all, this is a vampire site. That being said, I am sure most here are interested in vampires and know that your typical vampire in the general media ( films, literature, etc) have been biters. I use biting to say hello and in the case of new members welcome to the rave. If you do not like that, then let me know in a calm, sane manner and I will not do it again. You can also purchase a premium membership and block all biting. OR you can be an ass about it and find yourself blocked by me. I just hope you do not bother certain members of this site with your moronic rant about why someone contacted you. Get out of websites if you do not want to be contacted by some you do not know personally. I do recommend that you stay away from MySpace and all chat rooms. You will have problems coping. I hate to see how this individual behaves when he or she is inducted into a coven. Oh, I know a few covens I hope he or she gets inducted in. It will be interesting.

~Way I see things and how I believe~

There is a marvelous story of a man who once stood before God, his heart breaking from the pain and injustice in the world. "Dear God." he cried out, "look at all the suffering, the anguish and distress in your world. Why don't you send help?" God responded,"I did send help. I sent you." -Rabbi David Wolpe

I am a 36 year old female. I decided to tell a little more about myself.
I am nice to those who are nice to me and that I like. If you cross me
or do stupid things when I know you know better, I will not tolerate
you for very long. I hate racism or bigotry of any kind. I try to live
the best life possible.

I do not do drama. It does not matter whether it is on the Internet or in real life. One way to get and stay on my bad side is to pull me into some nosense and keep it going.

We can agree to disagree . Just do not be forceful with your opinion or make me feel attacked for disagreeing with you. This will get you nowhere fast.

A good friend of mine got told some people in our coven do not like him. None of these people have ever met this person in real life. Do not come to me with that kind of mess. If you have never met me or spent time talking to me at great lenght, then you have no right to judge me. I also do not have the right to judge you.

I know this profile is long, but I had to add a few words about Erica Marie Rivera. She was 25 years old and a mother of three. This April she went missing. Eventually her body was found and it became known that her boyfriend murdered her.

Erica was a sweet person who always had a smile on her face. If you had a bad day, just seeing her made you feel better. It was a sad day for all her knew her, when it was found out she was no longer with us.

She was murdered by someone who was suppose to love her. She was a victim of violence. Many woman everyday are beaten and eventually killed by the man who promised to love them. If you are in an abusive relationship, please get out. If you know someone in an abusive relationship, do not leave them alone , because you cannot tolerate what is going on. Beg them to leave. Offer assistance. Do whatever it takes to convince them that they were not put on this earth to be the victim of domestic abuse.

Speech Given by Robert F Kennedy On April 5, 1968 the day after Martin Luther King Jr. was shot and killed in Memphis, TN. On June 5th of the same year, Kennedy would be assassinated.
Mr Chairmen,Ladies And Gentlemen

This is a time of shame and sorrow. It is not a day for politics. I have saved this one opportunity, my only event of today, to speak briefly to you about the mindless menace of violence in America which again stains our land and every one of our lives.

It is not the concern of any one race. The victims of the violence are black and white, rich and poor, young and old, famous and unknown. They are, most important of all, human beings whom other human beings loved and needed. No one - no matter where he lives or what he does - can be certain who will suffer from some senseless act of bloodshed. And yet it goes on and on and on in this country of ours.

Why? What has violence ever accomplished? What has it ever created? No martyr's cause has ever been stilled by an assassin's bullet.

No wrongs have ever been righted by riots and civil disorders. A sniper is only a coward, not a hero; and an uncontrolled, uncontrollable mob is only the voice of madness, not the voice of reason.

Whenever any American's life is taken by another American unnecessarily - whether it is done in the name of the law or in the defiance of the law, by one man or a gang, in cold blood or in passion, in an attack of violence or in response to violence - whenever we tear at the fabric of the life which another man has painfully and clumsily woven for himself and his children, the whole nation is degraded.

"Among free men," said Abraham Lincoln, "there can be no successful appeal from the ballot to the bullet; and those who take such appeal are sure to lost their cause and pay the costs."

Yet we seemingly tolerate a rising level of violence that ignores our common humanity and our claims to civilization alike. We calmly accept newspaper reports of civilian slaughter in far-off lands. We glorify killing on movie and television screens and call it entertainment. We make it easy for men of all shades of sanity to acquire whatever weapons and ammunition they desire.

Too often we honor swagger and bluster and wielders of force; too often we excuse those who are willing to build their own lives on the shattered dreams of others. Some Americans who preach non-violence abroad fail to practice it here at home. Some who accuse others of inciting riots have by their own conduct invited them.

Some look for scapegoats, others look for conspiracies, but this much is clear: violence breeds violence, repression brings retaliation, and only a cleansing of our whole society can remove this sickness from our soul.

For there is another kind of violence, slower but just as deadly destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions; indifference and inaction and slow decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. This is the slow destruction of a child by hunger, and schools without books and homes without heat in the winter.

This is the breaking of a man's spirit by denying him the chance to stand as a father and as a man among other men. And this too afflicts us all.

I have not come here to propose a set of specific remedies nor is there a single set. For a broad and adequate outline we know what must be done. When you teach a man to hate and fear his brother, when you teach that he is a lesser man because of his color or his beliefs or the policies he pursues, when you teach that those who differ from you threaten your freedom or your job or your family, then you also learn to confront others not as fellow citizens but as enemies, to be met not with cooperation but with conquest; to be subjugated and mastered.

We learn, at the last, to look at our brothers as aliens, men with whom we share a city, but not a community; men bound to us in common dwelling, but not in common effort. We learn to share only a common fear, only a common desire to retreat from each other, only a common impulse to meet disagreement with force. For all this, there are no final answers.

Yet we know what we must do. It is to achieve true justice among our fellow citizens. The question is not what programs we should seek to enact. The question is whether we can find in our own midst and in our own hearts that leadership of humane purpose that will recognize the terrible truths of our existence.

We must admit the vanity of our false distinctions among men and learn to find our own advancement in the search for the advancement of others. We must admit in ourselves that our own children's future cannot be built on the misfortunes of others. We must recognize that this short life can neither be ennobled or enriched by hatred or revenge.

Our lives on this planet are too short and the work to be done too great to let this spirit flourish any longer in our land. Of course we cannot vanquish it with a program, nor with a resolution.

But we can perhaps remember, if only for a time, that those who live with us are our brothers, that they share with us the same short moment of life; that they seek, as do we, nothing but the chance to live out their lives in purpose and in happiness, winning what satisfaction and fulfillment they can.

Surely, this bond of common faith, this bond of common goal, can begin to teach us something. Surely, we can learn, at least, to look at those around us as fellow men, and surely we can begin to work a little harder to bind up the wounds among us and to become in our own hearts brothers and countrymen once again.

The following poem says a lot about why I do not like to see anyone harmed for their beliefs. If those beliefs do not translate into action that will hurt othes, then I do not like to see anyone hurt for how they believe. This should give some something to think about.

When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist.

When they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.

When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out;
I was not a trade unionist.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.

Question all the assumptions. Whether the assumption is one you hold,
or one someone else holds, makes no differance.
Everyone has a voice. Never think yours is the most important. Your
opinion is yours and you have a right to it. Just as others have a
right to hold to their opinion. Listen to the opinion of those who come
into your life. You just may learn something. Do not be guilty of
silencing the voice of another. The Nazi's of Germany silenced the
voices of many. The world is greatly poorer for the loss.
A few more things about me: I am always trying to learn and understand more about the planet I find myself on. I am a big lover of history. I have probably read just about everything I could get my hands on about US History.
I know this may not sound cool to some of you on here, but I am probably the biggest Frank Sinatra fan in the world. Yes, I love each and every member of the Rat Pack. IF you do not know what the Rat Pack is, try a google search.
I do not miss an episode of American Idol. Yes, I am hooked. I am not really proud of that and wish they had some kind of support group to help me overcome that addiction.

The actress, Bette Davis once said her daughter, BD Hyman , was the love of her life. I feel the same way about my 12 year-old son Malcolm. He is the reason I get up in the morning and keep trying no matter how rough things get.

If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals. ~J.K. Rowling, "Padfoot Returns," Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, 2000, spoken by the character Sirius Black

After all, to the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure. ~J.K. Rowling, "The Man with Two Faces," Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, 1997, spoken by the character Albus Dumbledore

A happy person is not a person in a certain
set of circumstances, but rather a person
with a certain set of attitudes.
Hugh Downs

Imagination is more important than knowledge.
Albert Einstein

You're happiest while you're making the greatest contribution.
Robert F. Kennedy

You must be the change you wish to see in the world.
Mahatma Ghandi

I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells.
Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living.
Dr. Seuss

I wanted to add that even though I am totally against domestic violence, I do not blame every man on the planet for this offense. Most men are not cruel to the women they claim to love. I love men. Their physical , mental and spirtual essences are a pleasure to me. Some of the most intelligent people I have had the pleasure to meet have been men. Some of them have also been the most empathic and understanding. I do not appreciate everything that men do, but there are many things that women do that are not appreciated by me either. I do not enjoy a battle of sexes. We are on this planet together and must learn to live with one another.

I am always adding things to this profile when it dawns one me something else may be needed. Maybe not. People make mistakes. Pointing out the mistakes in another's profile or journal has become fashionable on this site. There is a reason there is a dictionary. Someone with some sense realized that we needed a resource for everyone. No-one can spell every word in the dictionary or knows the meaning of every word in there. Someone saying they do is telling a big lie. The English language changes every so often. Some words fall out of style and some words are added to the dictionary every so often. Words like Internet and google were not part of the English language during the time of the American Revolution. IF we could send a current member of the world's population back in time, the people from that day would think that person was not well versed in the English language. Those who are highly critical of others are hiding faults of their own.

I believe in God and always will. My faith is him is what gets me through and is what keeps me going. I am basically happy no matter what. I respect everyone's beliefs. The freedom of religio n was added to the Constitution for a reason . Our founding fathers did not want Americans to have to follow one religion or risk being in trouble with the government. If you cannot respect another's beliefs, do not contact me on here. I will not argue with you and I have no desire to hear how your way is the only way. God is in charge. I am not. Talk to him. It will do you more good than messaging me with your anger or bias.

Smart people should not be expected to be boring sticks in the mud or never behave in a way that will show them to be silly or a tad bit crazy. Some people are reserved by nature. That is how they are and there is nothing you or I can do about it. Some of us are sillier than others. We do not act like we are dead no matter our age. Young at heart is what we are. Oh we can get serious and get down to business. We will scare you at that point. We do not mean to. I believe in being yourself. Do not put on a front. Some of us will see through it. Being the opposite of who you are shows one thing to others: You do not like yourself. I do like myself. That took a long time to get there. I had many tell me otherwise. I have had many tell me I should change who God made me to be to please them. Watch being a people pleaser. You will find yourself unhappy. That does not mean do what you will to people if that will hurt them. That is not the right thing to do. Just remember that you cannot totally please another person.

Having control of every stituation is impossible. If you think you can totally control another person, get ready to be frustrated. Life does not and will not work that way. People were given free will by their creator in my opinion. You are allowed to make choices. You cannot take that from others. Those who do are usually in jail or end up on trial for crimes against humanity.

Another great man in the news department is Anderson Cooper. To be a
man from his background and upbringing he has gone to alot of pain to
be sure that the news it relayed accurately and without prejudice. He
is to be honored.

~My Father~

I wanted to add something about my father to this profile. Edgar Dean
Haynes was born in Paint Rock, Texas, on July 31, 1910. His family was
hard-working. They were salt of the earth types. His sister, Inez,
joined the army and became a nurse. This was when most women married
and reared children.

My father married twice. The first marriage ended in divorce. He
married my mother in 1968. I was not his first child. By the time I
came along, he was in his sixties.

Most people are thinking about retirement at that age. He was just
getting his second wind. He worked until well into his seventies. My
father was known as Ed by many. His family called him Dean. He had a
smile that went on from one end of his face to the other. An excellent
cook, he did not consider it woman's work.

My father may have been born
in 1910, but he was not stuck in that time period mentally. He changed
with the times. He kept his morals but he understood that social change
must happen. Discrimination against others is not something he would
tolerate. Ed Haynes was far from perfect and he would be the first to
say so. He passed away on December 27, 2000. He is still missed

Yes, I have a small amount of sympathy for the devil. Look at what he lost. He was an angel in Heaven, according to most religions. All those people are not wrong or mentally ill. He hates everyone. Read the lyrics to the song. It does not matter how great or small you are.

"Sympathy for the Devil"
The Rolling Stones
Please allow me to introduce myself
Im a man of wealth and taste
Ive been around for a long, long year
Stole many a mans soul and faith
And I was round when Jesus Christ
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that pilate
Washed his hands and sealed his fate
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But whats puzzling you
Is the nature of my game
I stuck around st. petersburg
When I saw it was a time for a change
Killed the czar and his ministers
Anastasia screamed in vain
I rode a tank
Held a generals rank
When the blitzkrieg raged
And the bodies stank
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name, oh yeah
Ah, whats puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, oh yeah
I watched with glee
While your kings and queens
Fought for ten decades
For the gods they made
I shouted out,
Who killed the kennedys?
When after all
It was you and me
Let me please introduce myself
Im a man of wealth and taste
And I laid traps for troubadours
Who get killed before they reached bombay
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
But whats puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, oh yeah, get down, baby
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
But whats confusing you
Is just the nature of my game
Just as every cop is a criminal
And all the sinners saints
As heads is tails
Just call me lucifer
cause Im in need of some restraint
So if you meet me
Have some courtesy
Have some sympathy, and some taste
Use all your well-learned politesse
Or Ill lay your soul to waste, um yeah
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, um yeah
But whats puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, um mean it, get down
Woo, who
Oh yeah, get on down
Oh yeah
Oh yeah!
Tell me baby, whats my name
Tell me honey, can ya guess my name
Tell me baby, whats my name
I tell you one time, youre to blame
Ooo, who
Ooo, who
Ooo, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Oh, yeah
Whats me name
Tell me, baby, whats my name
Tell me, sweetie, whats my name
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Oh, yeah

"Learning to Fly"
Tom Petty
Well I started out down a dirty road
Started out all alone
And the sun went down as I crossed the hill
The town lit up the world got still

I'm learning to fly but I ain't got wings
Comin down is the hardest thing

Well the good old days may not return
And the rocks might melt, and the sea may burn

I'm learning to fly but I ain't got wings
Comin down is the hardest thing

Well some say life will beat you down
Break your heart, steal your crown
So I started out for God kno ws where
But I guess I'll know when I get there

I’m learning to fly around the clouds
But what goes up must come down

I’m learning to fly but I ain’t got wings
Comin’ down is the hardest thing
I’m learning to fly around the clouds
But what goes up must come down

I’m learning to fly
I’m learning to fly

"I Won't Back Down"
Tom Petty
I Won't Back Down
Well I won't back down, no I won't back down
You can stand me up at the gates of hell
But I won't back down

Gonna stand my ground, won't be turned around
And I'll keep this world from draggin' me down
Gonna stand my ground and I won't back down

Hey baby, there ain't no easy way out
Hey I will stand my ground
And I won't back down.

Well I know what's right, I got just on life
In a world that keeps on pushin' me around
But I'll stand my ground and I won't back down

Hey baby there ain't no easy way out
Hey I will stand my ground
And I won't back down
No, I won't back down

"A Change Is Gonna Come"
Sam Cooke

I was born by the river
In a little tent
oh And just like the river
I've been running ever since

It's been a long, long time coming
But I know a change gonna come
Oh, yes it will

It's been too hard living
But I'm afraid to die
I don't know what's up there beyond the sky

It's been a long, long time coming
But I know a change gonna come
Oh yes it will

I go to the movies, and I go downtown
Somebody keep telling me,
don't hang around

It's been a long, long time coming
But I know a change gonna come
Oh yes it will

Then I go to my brother
I say brother help me please
But he winds up knocking me
Back down on my knees

There's been times that I thought
I wouldn't last for long
But now I think I'm able to carry on
It's been a long, long time coming
But I know a change is gonna come
Oh, yes it will

GREEN DAY

"Boulevard Of Broken Dreams"

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's only me and I walk alone

I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Where the city sleeps
and I'm the only one and I walk alone

I walk alone
I walk alone

I walk alone
I walk a...

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'Til then I walk alone

Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Aaah-ah,
Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Ah-ah

I'm walking down the line
That divides me somewhere in my mind
On the border line
Of the edge and where I walk alone

Read between the lines
What's fucked up and everything's alright
Check my vital signs
To know I'm still alive and I walk alone

I walk alone
I walk alone

I walk alone
I walk a...

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'Til then I walk alone

Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Aaah-ah
Ah-ah, Ah-ah

I walk alone
I walk a...

I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Where the city sleeps
And I'm the only one and I walk a...

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'Til then I walk alone...

There was a time not so long ago, when our nation had found itself
under attack. I hope we never forget the lives of those lost or the
great price of hate and greed. May their families be comforted. I pray
we learn a great deal from this but here a just a few of my favorite
lessons. 1) Love the people in your life more passionately than ever
before. Let them know it every day. Like James Taylor says, "Shower the
People You Love with Love." Garth Brooks poses and true question in "If
Tomorrow Never Comes". Please ponder this. 2) We don't have time for
hate. Live life to the fullest and enjoy every minute no matter what
comes.
3) Never be afraid to be who you are.. no one deserves the right to
scare you out of that.. Peace to you

Another point I would like to make is that we should always back our soldiers.
They did not ask to go where they are but they cared for us enough to
risk all for our protection. Keep them in your prayers and if you can
pen pal with them.
We don't have to love the government to love our boys abroad
