I keep trying to think of things to say to everyone that will let you know what kind of person I am. I am still at a loss so i figured I would just ramble on. I have had my fair share of the good and the bad things in life. I have weathered many a storm to see the blue skies on the other side. I choose my own way in the world. I rarely follow anothers path. I believe this to be a good thing but sometimes when you are making your own way you make wrong turns or get lost. I have done both. I made a lot of mistakes when I was younger and am paying the price for that now. Of course I didn't see them as mistakes.
I have been in love twice in my life. The first was Brett. He was a good guy we were together for 7yrs. He was taken from me when I was twenty. He died in a car accident because he had too much to drink and felt it was ok to drive. I still haven't completely forgiven him for that. Though I miss him because he was my first love I had to move on. I will always treasure those memories and one day we will meet again and I think he will be happy that I was able to find love again.
That brings me to Keith. He was only supposed to be a fling, one night of sex. I know how this might make me sound but it had been a long time since I had any kind of impulse to even go there. I knew the moment I saw him I wanted to be with him. He was strong and cocky and I figured he could handle a one night stand. Alas I was wrong he didn't let me leave and still hasn't. We are now engaged and planning our wedding. You know that saying the best things in life are never planned. Well that is so true. I never planned to fall in love with this man but he took my breath away and in the process stole my heart.
