Why "Azariel"?

Azariel is a name that I made up from 2 other names: Azazel and Ariel.

Azazel - Is the chief of the Se'irim, or goat-demons, who haunted
the desert and to whom most primitive Semitic (most likely non-Hebrew) tribes offered sacrifices.

Ariel - An Archangel who's name means 'Lion or lioness
of God' and is associated with lions and animals. Ariel is involved with healing and protecting nature and that includes the animals, fish and birds, especially the wild ones. Great Angel of New Beginnings In Life.

So, as you see, the name is a combination of a demon and an angel which simply suggest that, just like everybody else, I am just a little evil but just as well angelic. The result of the clash of opposites results in what we all know as "normal" or simply the role I play in the day to day life. As we live in a society that bounds our spirit and chains our emotions most of us tend to appear more angelic then demonic in real life.

You might call me a hypocrit but the thing is: I do love a part of what society labels as "normal". I do want to get married one day, have some kids, own a house with a nice picket fence outside where I can get out on a Sunday morning an greet my (most likely annoying) neighbors. And then, later in the night I would go down in my basement, fire up my speakers and jump like a maniac.

Well, I still have a long way to my picket fence and for now I will get used to my 2 room apartment. I don't have a basement yet, but guess what? I have this place where I can unleash my thoughts, I can clear my mind of all the day to day crap that doesn't seem to stop and just... be me...

Anyway, in the mean time I was able to find out that in fact there is an Angel called Azariel which I didn't know of. It's an angel that governs the waters of Earth. I had no idea about it and my name had nothing to do with it...

About Me

I was borned and raised in the south-east of Romania. I know, it sounds like I am making it up but no, its true. The area where I lived is far from the famous Transilvania but I did travel in the area on many occasions. I will post some pictures from the town of Sighisoara where the actual house of Vlad Dracul can be seen.

I moved to the US sometime in the year 2001 following my father and sister. My mother came later on so now my entire family is here.
