My presence infers my obsession. I'm excited to look through the archives to see all that's there and to add to it if I possibly can. I'm reading the classic gothic novels to get a feeling of the past, the origins of all we love as a subculture and it's forgotten beautiful prose and poetry. As to the rest of me, I don't really know what to say. I have a very dry, sarcastic sense of humor and when I find something funny I laugh until I cry. I love old Vincent Price movies, silents, and classic horror.
I used to paint a great deal and write short stories but I stopped both due to a major inferiority complex and lack of time. Lately though the embers have been glowing and I'm trying to start oiling the wheels of creativity. I'm working on it. A few fragments have come to light.
I grew up watching, reading and writing vampire stories. Bela Lugosi has been my favorite since I was 5.
The rest of my time is spent raising a hyper little boy who I love more than life, working, and reading as much as I can. I tend to be horribly shy and quiet. I'm hoping the forum will help me with that. I'm not too big on debate simply because I tend to avoid conflict, but there are a few things I get riled about. Thank you for visiting.
