Quote: Well-behaved women rarely make history...
WELCOME ALL AND BLESSED BE. :]
FIRST: Please do not contact me in hopes of hooking up or cybering. That is not what I am here for, and I will block you immediately if you cannot obey that simple request. Honestly, if you can't think of something more substantial than my looks or whatever to start a conversation, then we really don't need to talk.
SECOND: I ask that you at least tell me when you've added me to your friends list. If you wish to be considered a friend, make the effort to get to know me and in the very least become acquainted. It gets annoying when I'm on 70 friends lists and I don't know half of you.
THIRD: I generally rate profiles simply. If it looks like you put effort into things, you get a ten. If not, then I pick a number from 6-9 based on how much effort I think you put. Most people get a ten from me. Most.

My name is Liz, and I'm a southern girl hailing from the small town of Bryan, Texas. I've lived here my whole life and love Texas wholeheartedly. (Even though our weather is like a PMSing woman.) Appearance-wise, I've got short red hair with some pink streaks. Dark green eyes. I'm extremely fair skinned, almost translucent. Pretty much, I glow-in-the-dark... No joke. I'm Irish, so I suppose that's why I stay so pale and never tan. I have one tattoo, it's a star with a black and purple spiral in the middle. I plan on getting at least two more... I really want a star/swirly something behind my ear and a Celtic cross on the back of my neck. :]
Hopefully, I'll have the new tattoos soon. ^_^ The shop I usually go to has closed, so I'm looking for another place where I feel comfortable and trust the artist.
Right now, I'm taking a break from school due to personal reasons, but I was attending college at Texas A&M and working on my degree in Psychology. Yes, it's one of the most conservative schools in the nation, but don't let that fool you--I'm very liberal. At this point in time, I don't know what I want to do after school or where I want to go for GRAD school. Once I hoped to work in a private practice and counsel teens and young adults, but I've been given more options now, and I'm trying to choose between them. Ultimately, if I can make a difference in one person's life, then I will be satisfied. Hopefully, I'll make more of an impact than that, but you never know.
I definitely believe in fate. Maybe it will play a hand in what happens when I've graduated, or maybe not. I'd really love to spend some time up north somewhere. Maybe Oregon or Washington. That could be nice. I don't know. When you come to a fork in the road, how do you choose which direction to go?
I just feel like you can't live your life like you're in a bubble. You have to get out and experience things and grow as a person. How else are you to learn what makes you unique and special as an individual? How else are you to know where you feel right in the world?

{Hehe, thanks to JigokuShoujo for finding
this perfect pic for me. :] I luff joo.}
As my name says, I'm a walking catastrophe. I trip over air. I'm the only person I know who has ran into a open door and gotten a bruise. Bad shit seems to be drawn to me like a magnet. It sucks, but you gotta work with what you've got, and I try to stay optimistic throughout all the shit life hands me. My story is a tragedy, but I try to overlook that and see the light in the darkness.
I'm TERRIFIED of spiders. >_O Always have been. Other than that, I'm afraid of houses. Like, big creepy old-timey houses. I don't know why, but they scare the crap out of me, mainly if I'm by myself. One reason could be that I've encountered some other-worldy things in my life, and I know they aren't all friendly.
I love sunflowers because the look like one of God's mess-ups. They are not conventionally pretty or elegant, however, they look happy. Like a big crooked smile around a mouth that's too big. That's what makes them beautiful. The imperfections.
I'm a firm believer in karma. What goes around, comes around. On the subject of religion, I don't honestly know what I am. For the past few years, I've described myself as an Agnostic, but recently, I've started attending church with my family and I'm reminded that not all Christians are intolerant of others and can be accepting.
Music is a big part of my life; I couldn't imagine a day without it. I've played violin for going on eight years now. I love all sorts of music, but Linkin Park is definitely my favorite band, and I've had the pleasure of seeing them live twice. :] I don't have the time or patience to list out all of the music and bands I love, but here's a playlist with quite a few of my favorites.
Ah, movies. Most would describe me as a movie-whore. And they are usually right. Right now, I'm working at a local BlockBuster, and I absolutely love it there even though I have enough DVDs to start my own rental place. :] But, I love film. Everything about it. Like music, there is no way I could form a list of all the movies I love. And I know you wouldn't want to spend forever reading that list. Honestly, it doesn't take much to please me with a movie. Generally, I start it open-minded and welcome the messages it has to offer. There are few movies I refuse to watch.
As much as I love movies, I love books even more. There's just something about being able to create the world in your mind's eye. I love being lost in a book and the world it creates in my head. It's one of my favorite feelings.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky is my favorite book. I love it and know it cover to cover.
A few of my other favorites are the Harry Potter series, and I'll admit I got caught up in Twilight but it's just so well-written, The Giver, Cut, Wicked, anything by Chuck Palahniuk and Anne Rice. Also, I'm not gonna lie, I like to read some smut every now and then. ^_~
And I love manga. :]
On the subject of manga, I love drawing it. Mostly because it's my favorite style of art and what I'm best at. I'll post a couple of my drawings in my portfolio.
