Background
I have been a vampire fan since I saw my first vampire movie at age 8. This was at a time before personal computers, the internet, or even cable TV. I tried to watch anything I could about vampire. Dark Shadows was my favorite show at the time. When I was 12 I wanted to become a vampire. People tend to look at you strange when you tell them that. As I grew older I kept my fascination with vampires, but did nothing with it beyond watching movies, TV shows, or an occasional book or play.
Now, many years later I am introduced to VampireRave. I realize now that there is more I do not know than I thought I knew. This new journey will change that around. Where it leads I have no idea. But my hope is there is bite involved somewhere!
Music
I like most kinds of music. To me its not about the style of music so much as the song. I don't care what genre the music is as long as I like it. I play bass guitar in a couple of bands. I have been playing music most of my life. I guess its why I was drawn to the character LeStat in "Queen of the Damned". I always thought vampires could make good musicians!
TV
I do not watch a lot of TV, but when I do its usually something related to paranormal or science fiction. My current favorite show is Supernatural. I was bummed when canceled Moonlight from last season on CBS. I have become a new fan the new show Sanctuary. I also like Star Gate Atlantis and Dr. Who. Occasionally I will be caught Ghost Hunters. And when I am not feeding I like comedies. Especially 2 1/2 Men, Rules of Engagement, and the new show Worst Week.
Books
Books I have read recently. The Historian, The Gargoyle, The Scorpian's Gate, Lucifer's Hammer, The Chronicles of the Necromancer(The Summoner(Book 1), The Blood King(Book 2), Dead Until Dark, and World War Z. I finished Michael Crichtons book "Next". Finished the complete "Anita Blake Series", the "Rachel Morgan"series, and the "Mercedes Thompson" series.
