"None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe that they are free." -Goethe
A soul of Khayos, walking this world shrouded in the eternal mists of darkness. The gazes that fall upon this disturbing wanderer turn away with disgust, the ever prevalent taint of prejudice and hypocrisy a stain upon the eyes of the self righteous. They will never understand the twisted visage that walks the perfect streets of their land of fables and lies, the pristine walls of self-deception erected around a bloody vision of the land's decay.
In the eyes of those who profess themselves innocent and pure before their reflecting god, all is beautiful and just, when in truth their world is a token of bigotry and lust. Before the blind and the wicked, the closet sinners and their false saints, I will always be some foreign affliction, like a disease to be wiped away by the broad sweep of their deceit.
I am the contradiction, a walking paradox and defiler of stereotypes. The eyes may label me as they wish, for I am all and none. The maggot, the insect, to squash beneath a heel, just because my eyes see the world as it exists, beneath the Hollywood glint and glamor that covers up the rust.
Whether it is love or hate the stares profess, peg me as nothing other than brutally honest. No honor exists in the lies the phobic use to hide their own insecurities. Count on me to rise past the embers of this crumbling world, and wipe away the ash. I will defy the expectations cast on my shoulders, for I will never adhere to the ideas of who or what I should be, nor will I stumble and fail simply because they have no faith in me. I am...me, the one Khayotic, and never will I be anything else.
"Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For the wounded man shall say to his assailant, 'If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven.' Such is the Rule of Honor." -Lamb of God "Omerta"
