On the 1st of the 1st 2001.....
It was the day that the earth got burnt by the sun.
On the 2nd of the 2nd 2002...
It was the day that saturn fell in love with the moon.
On the 3rd of the 3rd 2003....
It was the day that the world got a kiss from the sea.
On the 4th of the 4th 2004.....
It was the day that the north went and started the war.
......And it felt like a doomsday.

On the 5th of the 5th 2005.....
It was the day that the kids learned how to survive.
On the 6th of the 6th 2006.....
It was the day that the glitch came into the mix.
On the 7th of the 7th 2007.....
It was the day that the ravens all fell from the heavens.
On the 8th of the 8th 2008.....
It was the day that the apes went back to their caves.
......And it felt like a doomsday.

On the 9th of the 9th 2009....
It was the day that the lights appeared in the sky.
On the 10th of the 10th 2010...
It was the day the ascention came to begin.
On the 11th of the 11th 2011...
It was the day armagedeon was meant to have beckoned.
But the 12th of the 12th 2012...
Is the date that the wealth all keep to themselves.
.....And it felt like a doomsday.
.....But nothing ever really fucking happened.

Ok where do I start?
I am a poet/musician/artist from Melbourne Australia.

The main reason why I joined this site was to talk to some interesting, like-minded people. Also let's face vampire girls are hot.
But another reason because of my insatiable thirst for knowledge in relation to Mythology, Religion and Philosophy.
I am interested in hearing other peoples point of views and beliefs about the greater mysteries of life.
Lately i've been reading a lot of literature and listening to lectures on things like the Occult, Illumanism, Demonology, Satanism, Animism, and Vampirism.
Exploring these Taboo and so called darker perspectives about our existence I found many of the ideas unexpectedly reigned true to me. Of course a lot of it seemed like bullshit but it was all pretty interesting none the less.

Many of these philosophies that were supposed to be "evil" seemed to me to be more about getting closer to nature and living in harmony within our environment. Which I thought made sense for a religion to teach, we are all animals after all.
Over the last couple of years these themes have naturally wound their way into my art and poetry and basic persona.

My band's name is 3/4 Beast a name which represents the unleashing of the animalistic side within. This can get you in trouble sometimes but trusting your "animal instinct" also leads to a lot of fun.
We are a wild rock band that write songs about vampires, werewolves, reincarnation, and all kinds of weird shit. We are just starting to emerge onto the scene here in Melbourne. Developing a cult following of beastly fans who love to come see our "blood-spitting" theatrics and to howl at the moon with us.
