I do Not give out Automatic 10's nor will I Mirror or Revenge rate what you rated me. Honor and Ratings are not a Personal Reflection upon you, so don't take it Personally. I rate based upon the House Rules and whether or not your content includes more than pictures and a few paragraphs outlining your personality. I also look for updated content. If your profile is suspended for Infinity, just forget it. If your profile is Empty, just forget it. Suspended profiles get an automatic 1 and no stamp. I completely understand people have real lives outside of VR and often that means an absence occurs. If you return and want a better rating, just let me know and I will be happy to revisit your profile with honesty and fairness.

About Me
It's been a long while since I was on here. Hello to all my Friends and the House. It'll be good to start anew.
I am a former Certified Ophthalmic Assistant. I worked the medical field for about 20 years, got divorced, moved, and then my health worsened. I am disabled now with uncontrolled seizures (Refractive Epilepsy) and I deal with a slew of other issues but I'll not bore you with the details. Suffice it to say, we all have our challenges and hardships to deal with every day and I respect that. I am doing better, so here I am.
I am a writer, an artist, and all around craft addict. I also fall into the Crazy Cat Lady Category. Between myself and my housemate (another Catmom), we just adopted the 10th stray. I'm a sucker for little blue eyes and tiny toe beans. Kids, friends, my beloved, 10 kitties, 2 little dogs, 3 guinea pigs and a partridge in a pear tree...that's me.
I'm a gamer. Amber_Silverhawk is my tag on PS4. One of my favorite games is Elder Scrolls Online. I've been there since its release and I'm pretty sure I'll never finish it. There's always something new being added in content. My guild is The Drakes of Darkness. Check us out on our community page. Other games I like include Dragon Age, Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen, Skyrim, Witcher, DMC, and Monster Hunter. You know you've found my profile when you read it.
"I am a Vampire in a Relationship with an Air Conditioner." XD
I'm a total nerd, a solitary witch, a mother, a partner, and a friend. I enjoy the company of good hearts and intelligent conversation. I like crocheting, drawing, writing, sewing, and whole slew of other things that are too diverse to describe. My interests are always evolving, expanding and changing. It's the only way to grow as a person.
I'll be working on my profile here and there, so stay tuned, friend me, message me, rate me, whatever suits you.
Shadow Hide You
Communication is Key
I'm here because I want to be here. I love making new friends and helping others however I can. Feel free to message me about anything. If you don't ask questions, how will you know or learn something new? I will forewarn you though, I have a very blunt, flat affect in my answers. Part of that is because I have Epilepsy, it is not an uncommon side effect of having seizures or being on anti-seizure medications. It will behoove you to actually just read my replies at face value. Do not read INTO or BETWEEN the lines, there is nothing to find there. If you take that into consideration, you should also take note that I worked in a professional field where part of my job was the task of technical writing for doctor communication dealing with diagnostic FACTS. Don't be put off by my replies. If I offend you somehow, just say so. I will likely offer an apology and do my best to better explain what I am saying. VR is not Facebook. There is no Like Button here, so just speak up, talk to me. I'm am not hard to get along with.
One Rule: No Drama
If you're grown, be mature. I do not cater to elitists with titles, revenge raters, or making mountains out of a molehill. If you have a beef, tell me plainly, maybe we can work it out. If you decide to insist on being butt hurt, that's entirely up to you. Don't count on me sticking around to interact with you further. I have no patience for those that continually stir the pot despite clear communication. If you have the tendency to be a broken record of middle school proportions, you will simply be ignored or blocked. I have Epilepsy and drama is a stressor that I will not tolerate. My health is more important than your need to satisfy the inner troll.
Common causes of seizures:
What causes epilepsy?
Causes of epilepsy vary by age of the person. Some people with no clear cause of epilepsy may have a genetic cause. But what's true for every age is that the cause is unknown for about half of everyone with epilepsy.
*Some people with no known cause of epilepsy may have a genetic form of epilepsy. One or more genes may cause the epilepsy or epilepsy may be caused by the way some genes work in the brain. The relationship between genes and seizures can be very complex and genetic testing is not available yet for many forms of epilepsy.
*About 3 out of 10 people have a change in the structure of their brains that causes the electrical storms of seizures.
Some young children may be born with a structural change in an area of the brain that gives rise to seizures.
*About 3 out of 10 children with autism spectrum disorder may also have seizures. The exact cause and relationship is still not clear.
*Infections of the brain are also common causes of epilepsy. The initial infections are treated with medication, but the infection can leave scarring on the brain that causes seizures at a later time.
*People of all ages can have head injuries, though severe head injuries happen most often in young adults.
*In middle age, strokes, tumors and injuries are more frequent.
*In people over 65, stroke is the most common cause of new onset seizures. Other conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease or other conditions that affect brain function can also cause seizures.
