I have a son...his name is Jesse. He has changed the world already, he's only three. It's amazing how they do that.

There is no silence any more.

There is no reading of good books with my bare feet up on the porch rail and a cold glass of something beside me....

No more smoking...and God do I miss smoking. Inhaling exhaling....sheesh it makes me suffer.

No more long afternoons in the sun with the waves and a distant radio my company. Smelling sunscreen and hearing gulls...

I am tired, but happy. I hope that you are happy too....truly.

I believe......

I think that hate is love, twisted into fetters by an evil mind...
I think that freedom is a little myth our ancestors left behind.

I think that jealousy and death are close, because the taste is the same and nothing follows either -

I am not a lesbian or bi, I don't wear black every day, I don't feel like I am different from you, I don't have any huge emotional drama going on, I am not afraid of the dark, I don't feel depressed, I haven't got time to cut myself, I don't love to be emotionally disturbed, I wish I understood more, I wish I had time to read more, I wish I had a life less ordinary .. but I don't ... Ummm...I like sitting on the bow of the boat, dangling my feet in the water (yeah I know it's against the law), the color green in all its shades, getting a little bit of a tan, the way the ocean smells, Jesse, diesel dually trucks, my husband's hands, arrowheads - well most anything made of stone, fireplaces in the winter, the first cold snap in the fall - when you finally understand what the word "brisk" means in relation to weather, reading on the couch with Jess sleeping on the other end, hearing "Thomas the Tank Engine" playing in the living room, horses of any shape or color - especially mine, the dark, the dark when the moon is full, the dark when the moon is new, the dark when the cicadas are out, the dark when the first whip-poor-wills start singing, the dark when it's so hot and humid that even at midnight you're sweating, the dark when a million fireflies sparkle like diamonds, you get the idea....

Ok.... and I like movies, well...I guess I love movies. Mostly the Tarrantino stuff - ok, let's be honest - I have no taste in movies, I love all of them. B-Horror, low budget sci-fi ...Mmmmmmmmm hehe.

ummm.... read on if you care to know - I am green eyed and I don't wear make up - well sometimes I like to gob on some mascara - but other than that....my hair is golden, blonder in the summer and darker in the winter, but Jesse's hair is beach-bum blonde and smells like sunshine. I have long delicate fingers, I barely ever wear rings - but I like to have them anyway. Jesse already has hands like a boy, squarish and less like starfish every day. I love to walk barefoot on the beach or in the grass in the summer - and that one Jesse loves too, just exactly like me. I love books and Jess loves them too - he got that from his mom - the love of books. We read Harry Potter or Stephen King or Shel Silverstein or whatever the fuck is lying around and we love every word of it. Even without the pictures, he's happy to listen to my voice drone on. Sometimes we spend our day walking. Used to be, he would ride in his stroller (cause that's how he rolls *snicker) but now he walks beside me. We wander the woods or the sidewalks, it doesn't matter. We say "BE GONE TREES! I AM KING OF ALL I SURVEY!" ..and we laugh. "BE GONE SQUIRRELS, FOR I RULE THIS PLACE!" and we giggle. It's a dumb game we play, but it makes us happy. Daddy doesn't really get it, but we let him play too. We do our best....and that is all that can be asked of us.


OH one more thing...here's how I rate everyone, just so you know - in case you were like totally wondering hehe.. Everyone gets a freakin 10 - everyone....er...except you....and you....and you..hehe. Unless it's Tuesday, on Tuesdays everyone gets a 3...cause I could never get the hang of Tuesdays. SMOOCH
