You would not know me if we passed on the street. You would still not know me if we were introduced. I am not a freak. I am not normal. I am not smarter than most, or dumber. I am not holier than anyone, and do not pretend to be. My name does not have any twisted or hidden meaning. My name is Thomas. Some call me Tom.

What do I believe in? The simple things. I believe in the soul.

I believe that to love someone is to begin to understand them.

I believe that some people are older than you would guess. Some people are much younger than they pretend to be.

I believe that Christians are no more evil than are Muslims, Taoists or Buddists ... chess players, people who like ice-cream or those that think the Cubs will win a World Series.

I believe there is such a thing as Good. It is easy to see if you look for it.

I do not believe that Evil exists. People do harm to others. There may be a lack of Good. Neither of these conditions necessitates the existance of Evil.

Most people are mis-understood. Some people thrive on being mis-understood. Others scream to be heard. This is a facinating part of the human condition ... which I find very entertaining.
