Quote: ~ Fear....the thief of dreams ~
And now......
I am a dynamic figure, often seen scaling walls and
crushing ice. I have been known to remodel train
stations on my lunch breaks, making them more
efficient in the area of heat retention.
I translate
ethnic slurs for Cuban refugees, I write award-
winning operas, I manage time efficiently.
Occasionally, I tread water for three days in a row.
I woo men with my sensuous and goddess-like trombone
playing, I can pilot bicycles up severe inclines with
unflagging speed and I cook Thirty-Minute Brownies in
twenty minutes.
I am an expert in stucco, a veteran
of love and an outlaw in Peru.
Using only a hoe and a large glass of water, I once
single-handedly defended a small village in the
Amazon Basin from a horde of ferocious army ants.
I
play bluegrass cello, I am
the subject of numerous documentaries.
I
enjoy urban hang gliding. On Wednesdays, after
school, I repair electrical appliances free of
charge.
I am an abstract artist, a concrete analyst and a
ruthless bookie.
Critics worldwide swoon over my
original line of corduroy eveningwear. I don't
perspire. I am a private citizen, yet I receive fan
mail.
I have been caller number nine and have won the
weekend passes. Last summer I toured New Jersey with
a traveling centrifugal-force demonstration.
My deft floral arrangements have earned me fame in
international botany circles. Children trust me. I
can hurl tennis rackets at small moving objects with
deadly accuracy.
I once read Paradise Lost, Moby
Dick, and David Copperfield in one day and still had
time to refurbish an entire dining room that evening.
I know the exact location of every food item in the
supermarket.
I sleep once a week. When I do sleep, I sleep in a
chair. I balance, I weave, I dodge, I frolic
and my bills are all paid. On weekends, to let off
steam, I participate in full-contact origami. Years
ago I discovered the meaning of life but forgot to
write it down.
I have made extraordinary four course
meals using only a mouli and a toaster oven.
I breed prize-winning clams. I have won
spelling bees at the Kremlin. I
have performed open-heart surgery and I have spoken
with Elvis.

The Legend of Niamh
Some of you might wonder about the Niamh ( pronounced "neeve" or "nee-iv") part of my name....
well, here's a little info:
In Celtic Mythology Niamh was the daughter of the sea god Manannan
she was known as "Niamh of the Golden Hair,"
a beautiful princess riding on a white horse.
She fell in love with Fionn's son Oisin
and lived with him in Tir-na-nOg ("Land of the Young")
where 300 years passed in what seemed like three weeks.
In 2003 it was the eleventh most popular baby girl's name in Ireland.

What Vampire Clan Do I Belong To....
|
Artistic and maybe even a bit shallow, you belong to the clan of the Toreador. You have a keen eye for pretty things. The embrace is looked on as perserving all beautiful things for eternity. You are the sensual vampires that you hear people talk about that seduce to get what they want. This clan is the one thought of as being the spoiled sort who want to get what they want. However, you usually work right under the ventrue clan as they try to carry out their plans.
What Vampire Clan Do You Belong To?
|
The Toreador
The Toreador are called many things -
"degenerates," "artistes," "poseurs," and "hedonists" being but a few.
But any such mass categorization does the clan a disservice.
Depending on the individual and her mood,
Toreador are alternately elegant and flamboyant,
brilliant and ludicrous, visionary and dissipated.
Perhaps the only truism that can be applied to the clan is its members' aesthetic zeal.
Whatever a Toreador does, she does with passion.
Whatever a Toreador is, she is with passion. To the Toreador, eternal life is to be savored.
Many Toreador were artists, musicians or poets in life;
many more have spent frustrating centuries producing laughable attempts at art, music or poetry.
Toreador share the Ventrue's love of high society, though not for them
the tedium of actually running things - that's what functionaries are for, darling.
Toreador know that their place is to captivate and
inspire - through their witty speech, graceful deeds, and simple, scintillating existence.
