Hello all, my name is Alice and welcome to my Wonderland. I hope you find your stay here enjoyable.
I guess I should let you know a little bit more about me. Well, I love all things creative. Painting, drawing, cooking, baking, and so much more! I find that I’m the most happy when I get to create something with my own hands out of nothing. There is just something so beautiful about it. I may not be that great at some of those things, but that doesn’t really matter much to me.
I’ve been down the rabbit hole before, and almost completely lost my way. Of course, it wasn’t Wonderland that time. But, because of that experience I’ve gained some inner strength I didn’t know that I had. This last time traveling down the rabbit hole, I found my perfect Wonderland.
That being said, there are many many layers of Wonderland, and things may not always be as they seem. Just like there are two sides to the looking glass, I have two sides as well. You’ll have to find your way through the looking glass to find out more.
Here's a little more insight. Anything else you want to know ask.
1. Why are you passionate about what you do?
Art was a way for me to escape and to put all the things I had in my head into real life so to speak.
2. Do you think money is important?
I think it's a necessary evil.
3. What makes you the happiest?
Depends on my mood usually. I love my two cats: Lilly and Cortana. A good paranormal horror movie, or any anime, hot chocolate and a blanket are usually good things as well.
4. What is the most surprising fact you’ve learnt about yourself?
I've learned to be strong and to stand up on my own two feet. I learned how to swim when I was drowning without the help of anyone.
5. What do you think your role is in this world?
I've been told I'm a spiritual nanny for the children that have passed on for this world, but I'm still learning. Anything else, I'm not really sure. I'm only 32, and I haven't really found the path I'm meant for yet. But I am still searching.
6. When it comes to your work life, how much is due to your hard work and how much to the environment?
I got to where I got with hard work. Sometimes it really is who you know. But in my personal experience, I worked my butt off, making myself available for all sorts of shifts, taking classes I needed to take.
7. Who is your hero?
It's going to sound cliche, but my mom is my hero. I watched her raise four children by herself, after an incredibly bad relationship, raise herself out of the ashes, and become the strong woman she is today. We lost my father, her soulmate July 31 of this year, and her strength continues. I am in awe of how amazing she is.
8. How do you spend your time?
A normal day I work on my store, clean the house, play with the cats. Two nights a week I'll get onto my Xbox with my crew and lately it's been Division 2, but we've been known to play Sea of Thieves, Battlefield 5, Destiny 2, etc. Oh, I also find time to get onto here usually, unless it's been a hectic week.
9. What do you wish you had asked your parents before they passed away?
This one is hard, but there's nothing I really wished I had asked my dad. I just wish I had been able to spend more time with him. I want to thank him for taking me in as his daughter, and treating me as if I was his own when he didn't have to.
10. Where is the best place in the world you’ve ever been to?
There was a place in Kansas that I used to visit all the time. It had been a neighborhood, but due to the tunnels underneath it, was abandoned because it had started collapsing in some areas. It had been like that for a long time, so the foliage was overgrown and it was like a world away from the world, and the energies there were amazing.
11. What is your favourite movie or book series?
I love the insidious and conjuring series for movies, and my favorite book series is the House of Night series by P.C. and Kristin Cast.
12. Does listening to music affect you, and how?
It does. When I'm feeling down, I'll put on a certain playlist and work things out that way. It also helps me move some of the stories in my head along.
13. How would you describe your personality?
I feel like I'm kind of complicated. Normally I'm calm, polite, cool and collected, giving off that air of an old soul, or so I've been told. Then there are other times where I'm a complete hyper active goofball.
