All Hail the King Of Dragons and those of his blood!
In the Norsemic Empire, the people are very simmailr to us but they live in a fairly backwards demension that is said to only be reachable through the ocean's triangle and when the gateway is open the armies of the Dragon King shall come and reclaim their home
Well over 2500 years ago the first race of men to have lived in the present day middle east had such pure faith that they could see, hear, and speak to their gods like equals. so long as the five orbs that hold some of their god's power remained intact that is.
But after a century of such a culture, the five sacred orbs broke and many of the people felt so very alone. The five gods also felt wronged for now their "children" were lost and doomed, then the gods gave many of them a vision that showed them the way to paradise, a portal/gateway another world where they could all try again but as mantioned not all of the loyal Norso had received the vision and as a result the blood of the Norso runs through many vains in this world.
The Gods sealed the portal shut and promised that they would have their home again some day. The gods allowed time to pass faster in this second "earth", called Terazen. the humans called them selves the Norso.
After the Norso had gathered all the imformation as to how the orbs had broken in the first place, all eveidence seemed to piont to roughly half-a-dozen people that were left behind, but all the information had one clear relating fact, the leader of the group was a woman. and as a result woman throughout that second world were bound and enslaved, that was done as a punishment and a percaution to all women beneath the Norsemic banner, for women in general are driven to act on opinions, thoughts, feelings, and other things that are/can be founded without a/any logical reason(s).
But some of the Norso never reconnected with their five dieties, and as a result fled and became a subrace of the norso feeling that the gods are lies and that there is only one and practiced their own form of Christianity. The Norso focused on remaking these orbs the best they could and almost succeded until the subrace, known as the Pandanisians, began to wage the war that Changed the Norso into a Warrior race.
As a result of the war the Norso believed that war is purpose. Often when a cuntry is at war, the Government pays more of its citizens to support the war in some fashion. The Norso set out and did anything to make them stronger, faster, agile, and cunning, after two-hundered years the war had compleatly revolutionized the Norsemic race.
So had the way that children were raised. girls were not killed but before anyone is too atached the infant is sent to a set race of warrior wemon much like the Amazonian woman but not in a forest but in a hilly plains region.
Whereas the males are kept and watched over for a year and figure out weather he is a soilder or a worker. if he is to be a soilder then a few weeks later the father takes his son with him to a worrior school. When the son is 7 years old the child is expected to be able to run while carrying around objects with mass greater than himself. At ten the son is sent to a Millitary training factility where he learns about warfare and combat for the next decade. When he is finished and has proven himself worthy of service to the empire/kingdom/nation he is assigned an available army/battalion/unit, and carries on the life of a soilder.
As a soilder progressess in the Norsemic Leagion or the Tribunal, he must learn certain kinds of magic. but that is to be read about in Chris's book The Dragon King: at war with the barbarians.
