Well since I have been struggling with just what to put here, let me start by telling a bit about myself. I am currently a resident of Green Bay, Wisconsin. I am 6'-5" tall, have chestnut brown hair, and hazel-blue eyes. I enjoy my friends (which are really my new family), writing, reading, and good food and drink. I am an avid lover of history, and I am a published author in the form of articles (mostly in historical journals). I read, write and speak fluent German, however, English is my first language. I am currently working on two projects, which will take me to England and Eastern Europe in the near future. Afterall one must go where the research guides them.
As for my outlook on life, that is probably best left to the journal section of my profile, but I can tell you now that I am an individualist. As an individual is the smallest minority on the planet, one must respect the individual before one can respect anyone or anything. Does this infact mean that I am not religous, on the contrary, I believe we are all religous in our own way. You can see a persons inner-spirit and essence in the way they conduct themselves and by what they do and how. As for any type of organized religion however, all I can say to that is "NO THANK YOU."

Absinthe, which I am proud to say has finally been legalized in the United States to own and consume, but not to sell (how droll).
Writing, which I have probably said enough about.
Reading, I love history, studies of the occult and other religions and of course Gothic Horror. One of my favorite authors is Edgar Allen Poe.
Thunderstorms, in fact the louder and more brilliant the light-show the better.
Music, I like a wide range of music from classical to metal, however, metal is my favorite. Some of the bands that I like are: Rammstein, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Black Label Society, Lacuna Coil, Ozzy, KISS, Judas Priest, HIM, Rob Zombie, The Scorpions, Rasputina and Zebra. On the classical side of things, I like; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Rickard Wagner, Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, and Hayden.
And My Friends, both the new ones that I have made here in Green Bay, and here on the RAVE, I would just like to thank everyone for being so kind in welcoming me here and for guideance in navigating this awesome site.
My Dislikes
Liars and cheats, I really am a pretty even-tempered person that rarely gets angry, however, when it comes to these people I will gladly make an exception.
Text-speak, come on folks we are the recipients of the gift of language, so please lets use it. You can express yourself so beautifully with the proper use and verbiage of the written word. Let us not get so lazy that it becomes a chore for us to write properly. And for the love of all the GODS, use a spellng checker, this is a computer and they all have them, they will make what you are saying in words so much more appealing if they are spelled correctly.
Bible-beaters, if ever there was living proof of evolution it is here. I really don't care what religous sect you belong to, just don't preach at me. If you think..err wait scratch that, it implies rational thought patterns, better to say if you feel that I am going to hell, then fine, just shut up and keep it to yourself. I don't wish to hear it, and I dare say the rest of us do not either.
