I have been a member of this fine establishment since December 2005 under various aliases. Prior to this account, I was JadedCrystal - aka JC to those closest to me. I love meeting new people and chatting, so if you add me please feel free to send me a message so we can get to know each other.

I am a married woman and will remain faithful to my life partner. As he's said since day one, "we're a team!", and nothing or no one will ever break our bond. (Though some have tried, but failed miserably. *wink*)

I am a voracious learner. If I could take college courses for free, I'd do it in a heartbeat. That thirst for knowledge goes along with my background as a writer. I love to tell conflicting stories where the environment my protagonist is in challenges them to behave in a way they normally wouldn't - because without growth, there's no story. I've researched everything from the zodiac signs who are most likely to commit murder, to haunted shipwrecks who fell victim to the battles of WWII. If we're not using our minds to their fullest potential, then what's the point of having them in the first place?

I am a student of the occult. I study and do my best to incorporate elements of Green Witchcraft into my every day life. I have been working with crystals for almost fifteen years (I'm a sucker for selenite and amethyst), and I also read tarot, as well. I'm more of a spiritualist than anything else, because along with Green Witchcraft, I take bits and pieces from other religious dogmas and apply them to my own lifestyle in a way that makes sense for me.

I'm also an avid reader - as I'm sure you could tell by my love for learning/writing. I'll read just about any genre, but I especially love horrors, psychological thrillers, and YA fantasy. My favorite authors are Stephen King, Becca Fitzpatrick, and Jodi Picoult.
