An intelligent hippie-chick "burn-out", I have been called. Eclectic and a bit absent-minded at times but...sort of fun. I am currently attending graduate school at Kings College in Aberdeen, Scotland working my Doctorate in History (PhD) about the Murrays of Atholl in the late 17th and early 18th century; this was a time of great upheaval and subtle changes in Early Modern Scotland. One day I want to be that professor you see wearing the comfortable shoes (Birks or Crocs), Levis and a jacket walking across campus with her nose in the "The Hobbit"...again.
BTW - sexy dosn't necessarily preclude Jedi. Get it straight folks. Jedi can be sexy. It's in how we
choose to use our attraction that defines us...I use my 'attraction factor' to educate...reel them in with beauty and dazzle them with intellect. No wonder my daughter thinks I am like 'Belle' from
Beauty and the Beast.
My current "blend" of spirituality consists of Wicca and shamanism and most recently Zen. I was raised a Wiccan, my daughter's father is a Native American from the Eastern Shoshone tribe and I am currently always reading another book about Buddhism; I really enjoy its tenets. Consequently, when I combine all these thoughts in my brain along with quantum mechanics and colossal physics, then hit FRY, I cook up my own ideas and new thoughts on science and religion.
I find it fascinating to ponder the idea that all existence springs from thoughts in the mind.

I think the best testament of my character is my daughter. She has watched me muddle through to some semblance of success for a long time - but has always been supported, loved and accepted. Lauren grew up in a very relaxed, fun environment and she is now at the Colorado School of Mines where she is majoring in Environmental Engineering. I support her decisions to choose whatever path is best for her future as long as she is thrilled to wake up every day. I am very proud of her. I wish her well in her future - it is time for her to fly!
