Hello! Thank you for popping in! My name is Karon, I've been here a few times. I first started my journey on the rave when I was sixteen under the name chemicalreaction. I am now 30 (in 2022) and I have had MULTIPLE different names here. Anyway, I'm basically just here to try and find some of the people I was friends with before. Even though it has been a very long time, I still remember always having someone to talk to every time I logged on here. Things here have definitely changed a lot, and I am still trying to navigate the changes, so you'll have to excuse my mess.
Those of you that don't know me, let me learn you some stuff, lol. I am a direct support professional. I have been a DSP since 2018. I provide in home supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I love my job. I am in a home setting working with an individual who is a little younger than I am. We usually just hang out and watch tv shows, or we will go and get dinner or just talk. It's like going to a friends house and staying for twelve hours and they happen to fall asleep six hours in. Hah. I do mostly anything they require such as doing laundry, cooking, driving, cleaning, things like that. It's like keeping up with a second household, but it's not too bad.
I am married. I've been with my husband now since 2013, and we've been married since 2017. We have one son, three dogs, four cats and three turtles. We just bought a house, and we are super excited and proud of ourselves. We both come from families who really didn't have a lot. Most of our family members are dope fiends, thieves or manipulators. It took us a really long time to distance and build ourselves the way we wanted to be, and not what was role modeled for us. I honestly do think he is my soul mate, just because there is no one out there who quite understands how I feel or think like he does. We are trying for another baby, but I honestly don't think it's in the cards for us.
I love to diamond paint. If you're not sure what that is, there are some diamond paintings I have completed in my Portfolio. I also love listening to music, binge watching television series, reading, and sleeping(HAH). In my spare time, I am either diamond painting or thinking about remodels for our house. I also like playing on my nintendo switch like a child. I'm not very good at a lot of games, but I play Fortnite and Slime Rancher. If you ask nicely, I might give you my details and maybe we can play together!
I have a couple of tattoos. Right now I have four, but that's going to change in October. I have a small heart on my right leg, a small heart on my left leg, a hummingbird with my mothers name above it on my right side, and a little girl going fishing with her father on my left forearm in remembrance of my father who passed away in 2014. In october on my mothers birthday, I will be getting a little girl and her mother in a butterfly house (in the same form as the other tattoo on my left forearm). I still have some touch ups to do on my dad's tattoo like his name, birth and death dates. I did at one point have my tongue pierced, but it closed a long time ago. I would like to get my tongue pierced again, but I want to get all my ink work done first.
I'm not really sure what to say in these things anymore. I guess the best way to "get to know me" is to talk to me, interact. I'm always up for conversation when I log on. I don't get on here as often as I used to, but I do try and reply to everyone as fast as I can, as often as I can. So, yeah.
