I‘m currently in a relationship with a very special someone I'm a bisexual woman and I am 20 years old.
Lest we forget this is Currently a work in progress.

Afterness.

I cannot go back to when Alexandra--
nor watch the ships sail as vales of hatred
towards the tall walls of Troy.

I do not know the sound of men gathering together--
the thought of death on the next step; here I know
nothing.

But imagination has lingered in the dying
and here I feel the afterness.

I cannot say my whys or causes,
even to enlighten an opinion—for
this was Rome filled with its own pleasures
crumbling from the inside out.

History has given me my experience to the
cause and effort—but I’ll go down the same
path as the Huns, the Romans, and the Greeks.

Knowing whoever we are we shall do the same
even after hearing of the before.

I’m giving you the chance with my already
conquered heart—knowing I can rebuild it.

Herein you’ll decide the afterness.

Helen of Troy, Cleopatra—and the women

Cause the seas to stir once more for you.

A friend of mine I though this was an amazing poem I wanted people to see it on here he is an amazing poet of only he knew he has graced me with his presence and shown me others of his works but this is one of his best.
