Garnet is said to be a stone of passion. It inspires love and mutual attraction. It enhances sensuality, sexuality, and intimacy while bringing warmth, devotion, understanding, trust, sincerity, and honesty to a relationship.
Much like my namesake, I am a person of passion. I am warm, devoted, understanding, trustworthy, sincere, and honest. I am a sensual being who thrives on love. I love being in love, and when in the throes of a romantic affair, I come alive.
However, my passion is not limited to matters of the heart.
I am also passionate about my creative endeavors. I am a storyteller. I have been telling stories since the tender age of three. My parents, noting that I had an affinity for weaving a good yarn, purchased a tape recorder for me so that I could capture my tales on tape. Thirty-three years later, the well has yet to run dry.
I am passionate about knowledge. I have been a scholar all my life. I thirst for knowledge. My personal philosophy is: Ignorance is
not bliss.
I was born in the cold, harsh month of January; therefore, my birthstone is garnet.
I have often thought it apropos that garnet be my stone. What birthstone could be more fitting for a soul which harbors such a fascination for vampires as a stone the very color of blood?
