Hey All,
My name's Alison (or Ali to my friends), I'm 15 and live in a small seaside town in Scotland - and by 'small' I mean population 7000. I've lived here all my life but love to travel. I've been pretty much all across Europe and visited Boston and New York City with my school last summer. It was great and I'd love to go back some day but, to be honest, it doesn't look like that'll be possible for a while :(
I'm a bit of a science geek - and proud of it :P. I'm staying on at school until 2012, after which I'm hoping to go to university in Glasgow.
I'm quite musical ie I play sax and guitar. Unfortunately, I'm cursed with a total lack of artistic talent, but I can write. I think that that's maybe what I want to do for a living when I leave school. I've always loved reading and I've been writing short stories for a few years (check out my journal, I'll be putting some of my work there).
Ok, so I'm a freak. Deal with it. To me, the freaks are what makes life interesting and everything else is just plain, boring and not worth anything. I'm sorry if I come off as a bitch for saying that but... well, I'm sure a lot of the people on VR will understand defensiveness.

Reading, writing, chocolate, skinny jeans, the colour red, Tim Burton films, shopping, pretty much all music, VR, the Twilight books when no one knew what they were.
Dislikes:
Homework, parties where you only know one person, the way half my hair goes into ringlets and the rest stays straight, the colour yellow, sports, people who talk through movies, the Twilight books now that no one will shut up about them.
