My name is Keefe. I am 24 years old. I am not to great at describing myself so if there is anything you'd like to know feel free to ask.

For those of you who don't know the meaning behind the username. I got it from the show Merlin. Which aired in the England in 2008.

Emrys is his magical name. The Druids have long known of Merlin's arrival as prophecy and named him Emrys.

Historically Merlin is a combination of two Legendary figures:

- Myrddin Wyllt (Merlinus Caledonensis) a North Brythonic Prophet and Madman.

- Ambrosius Aurelianus a Romano-British War Hero.
This amalgamation is Merlin whose full name is Merlin Ambrosius. Now Welsh is a separate language spoken in England and the Welsh name for the Merlin character is Myrddin Emrys.

Merlin first appears in extant records (Armes Prydein, Y Gododdin) from the early 10th century as a mere prophet, but his role gradually evolved into that of magician, prophet and advisor, active in all phases of the administration of King Arthur's kingdom. He was apparently given the name Emrys (or Ambrosius) at his birth in Caer-Fyrddin (Carmarthen). He only later became known as Merlin, a Latinized version of the Welsh word, Myrddin, taken from the place of his birth.
