There was nothing unusual surrounding the day of my birth. I was born in a town so small that none of you would give it more than a passing thought, if that. Just like any number of other infants that came into the world in the year of 1983, or any other year, my birth was simple and uneventful.
I was born out of wedlock to my mother. In accordance to every other member of my family, I was the best thing my father had every accomplished. I’m sure this opinion isn’t held by him, for I doubt the man would know me from any other woman if I passed him on the street.
And my family would also be pleased to report that I was the best thing that happened to my untamable mother. My mother calmed down for all of twenty two years and then ran off for parts unknown to most.
The other members of my family who helped rear me from infancy were my grandmother and my aunt. My grandmother was an abusive alcoholic with bi-polar disorder who I am happy to report is now safely behind lock and key.
My family and I have a fairly good relationship as long as the subjects that men have perished for don’t arise in normal conversation. Politics, religion, sex and sexuality are kept in the far corners for it is a mutual understanding that as long as my aunt doesn’t have to openly acknowledge their bisexual, pagan, liberal as anything more than their relative I don’t have to listen to their constant conservative Christian banter about how the Lord has saved their and if I open my heart I too can be saved.
I could dwell on further about my upbringing. About how living in a small Midwestern township and attending the same school system for my entire public education shaped me and molded me. About how I felt shunned, alone, and distant for most of my youth. Growing up in a small primarily Christian village can do that to a person. It’s not that I didn’t have friends. A small, select band that felt there was more to life than sports, nice cars, and whom one was dating. We were all bored, listless. Artistic, creative people destined for more. Some did conform to parental coaxing and the ideals held by society. Some became legal, ripped the rearview mirror off, and let the rubber squeal because they couldn’t get out of town fast enough. Now destined to drift aimlessly from one town to next, one job to the next, all the ambition and drive beaten out of them because ambition and drive couldn’t buy a cheeseburger. I, however, would like to think that I am still destined for more.
♥My husband♥
My Tyger is wonderful. At least in my eyes. We have been together for six years, married for two. Not all of that time has been completely blissful, but we’ve stuck by each other through it all.
We met through a friend in college during my freshman year. He came to visit her, but it was he and I that were up talking until 5 am. I didn’t speak to him again until Easter, and we started dating April 24th. Now, of course, my friend tries to take some of the credit for my happiness, but she tried to talk me out of dating him.
♥My son♥
My little tyger cub was born June 17, 2007. It was a good Father’s Day for Tyger. He was born on his estimated due date too. He likes to be prompt, especially for his feedings. He’s my little angel. I have his picture in my portfolio.
♥My pets♥
I have two cats, Midnight and Lion O. They were given to me by Tyger as Christmas presents. I love them both dearly, but secretly I long for a kitler (www.catsthatlooklikehitler.com).
I haven’t always been interested in makeup. In fact, growing up I didn’t have many female friends. All the friends I had were boys and fellow tomboys. It wasn’t until junior high that I used makeup regularly for anything more than Halloween.
Progressively through out the years I have become more fascinated by makeup. More than just making myself or others beautiful, but the visual special effects of latex and foundation.
The desire to become a makeup artist stemmed from my love of horror movies. I was intrigued by stage blood recipes and the sheer amount of time, labor, and materials it took to transform an actor and make it believable.
But, I have currently taken a small hiatus from formal education. It was mainly due to the fact that I didn’t know what I wanted for me but everyone else seemed to and I needed to hear my own voice. Now that I have, it is my plan to work until I have saved back money to attend a professional make up school in Florida.
♥ I am addicted to coffee. My consumption is measured in pots.
♥ I have OCD. Sometimes, I swear I am ataxophobic.
♥ I pick off my fingernail polish when I’m uncomfortable.
♥ I have gephyrophobia and coulrophobia.
♥ My eyes turn a deep blue-grey when I’m pissed off. I’ve been told it looks like a storm is forming.
♥ My table top RPG character is always a half elf rouge. My most interesting table top RPG character was a half elf lesbian queen of thieves with two male minions and a midget for a pet.
♥ I collect Hello Kitty items and panda statues.
♥ I shower with the lights off.
♥ I do energy work and divination. I’m currently trying to learn how to read tea leaves.
Religion
I don’t believe any one religion has it all together. I believe they all have good ideas, and you have to discover the one that works best for you. In my personal opinion, there are different religions because not all of us come from a cookie cutter mold and the messages across the religions are pretty much the same. We just tend to go to war over the differences.
I, personally, am Wiccan. It’s what suits my personal form of worship best.
Love
Love knows no gender, color, religion, or any other bias. Once you find that person, male or female, you know. And that’s who you’re supposed to be with.
People
It really just pisses me off when people separate themselves, but demand equality. I consider myself a “peoplist.” I’m for the fair treatment of all people, but the more groups separate themselves off to demand special treatment, the less fair it is to everyone.
Firstly, I don’t rate the profiles of whelps, unless they have rated me. They’re new to the site and I feel they need time to get their bearings. I will, however, lend help to anyone who asks for it.
I won’t even rate your profile if…
You have nothing in your profile.
You have one sentence in it.
Your profile is nothing but quizzes and large graphics.
I rate based on…
• typos
• grammar
• content (if your profile just says, “I’m me, and if you don’t like it fuck you!” I will roll my eyes and move on)
• organization
Note: If you are from another country and really trying to do your profile in English, I will let the typos and grammar slide. I give you kudos just for trying to make your profile in another language.
I will not rate based on the score you gave me. If I gave you a nine and you request a rerate, I will not comply. On a 1-10 scale a 9 is pretty good. And if I rate you one score and you rate me a ten then ask if I can do the same, I’ll probably go back and rate you lower. Don’t be greedy.
However, I am open to discuss what I found wrong with your page if you value my opinion that much. But, you can’t please everyone.
