My name is Dale
I'm 5'6" 175 lbs.
I am an American Indain (full blooded) with long black hair
I work at Skulls Unlimited in OKC
so what is there to say about me?
I live in OKlahoma Shitty
really nothing to complain about that.
and of course I love vampires.
I got into the gothic scene about 10 yrs ago but my love of vampires goes much further then that.
The first vampire movie I saw was Fright Night when I was 10. Instead of being scared I couldn't imagine who wouldn't want that kind of power.
I began reading on vampire lore, legend,
and fiction. watching what ever vampire movie i could find (very few actually good ones, apparently).
Eventually that led me to Vampire: The Masquerade, and that led me further to goth.
I loved the aspect of it. Finding beauty in the the things most people fear.
Embracing your darker urges as so you can control them and not them controling you.
To me Goth does not mean going on and on about death and misery or about being constantly dark and brooding.
Goth is living your life without fear of death and to live with no regrets. When death comes I'll be happy because I'll have no regrets. doesn't mean I'm running head first to death. Mistress Death will come to me when She feels it is time. No reason I see to go to her.
among my favorites
Movies:
Fright Night (of course),
Lost Boys,
To Sleep with a Vampire,
Dracula (Bela Lugosi),
Nosferatu,
Interview with the Vampire,
Vampire Hunter D,
The Crow and
Highlander (ok not a vampire film but the pain of immortality still applies.)
T.V.
Forever Knight,
Highlander the series,
Kindred the Embraced and
The Crow: Stairway to Heaven.
Books
Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice,
The Lord of the Dead by Tom Holland,
Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klaus,

and most anything by Edgar Allen Poe
As far as music goes my favorite bands include
Evanessence,
Seether,
3 Days Grace,
Disturbed,
Ozzy,
and old school Metallica
but I listen to whatever I damn well like.
I see that those quiz things are a common element in everyone's profile. Why I do find them entertaining I will not have any on my profile. Draw your own conclusions of who I am from what you see.

Black Rose
by
Fred Mollen
Take me to the edge of darkness
Follow the moon to its hiding place
There is magic in the silence
As I start my fall from grace
There is no stairway to the light
There is no answer, Heaven knows
Will there be music left to write
In my fantasy... Black Rose
Start the masquerade without me
Take illusion and disguise
When your only love's a stranger
You scorn the truth you need the lies
There is no stairway to the light
There is no answer, Heaven knows
There is a flower of the night
For all eternity... Black Rose
They said that good things come to those who wait
And I've been waiting for so long
It's now or never and the hour's late
I want this moment right or wrong
There is no stairway to the light
There is no answer, Heaven knows
There is a flower of the night
For all eternity... Black Rose

"Tonight we mourn the loss of a dear friend.
One moment so full of life, the next, what was lies shattered and broken.
Irretrieviable. Beyond reach, beyond hope.
Do we ask ourselves 'If there is a God, how could this happen?'.
Better to ask 'If there is a God, must He be sane?'"

"What a wonderful thing humanity is,
Passionate, intelligent, generious, inquizitive, full of hope and joy, noble of spirit, and above all ... Delicious."

But still on the list "

She Walks In Beauty Like The Night
by
Lord Byron
"She walks in beauty like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes;
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where toughts serenly sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling place
And on the cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below
A heart whose love is innocent."

"I told a priest don't count on any second coming.
God got his ass kicked the first time He came down here slummin'.
He had the balls to come,
the gall to die and then forgive us.
No, I don't wonder why,
I just wonder what He thought it would get us. Hey Hey good try."

REST IN PEACE
I died so many years ago
But you can make me feel
Like it isn't so
And why you've come to be with me
I think I finally know
mmm-hmmm
You're scared
Ashamed of what you feel
And you can't tell the ones you love
You know they couldn't deal
So you whisper it in a dead man's ear
That doesn't make it real
That's great, but I don't want to play
Cause being with you
Hurts me more than I can say
And sense I'm only dead to you I'm saying stay away.
And let me rest in peace.
(chorus)
Let me rest in peace
Let me get some sleep
Let me take my love
And bury it in a hole
six foot deep
I can lay my body down
But I can't find my sweet release
So let me rest in Peace
You know you got a willing slave
And you just love to play the thought
That you might misbehave
But until you do
I'm telling you
Stop visiting my grave
And let me rest in peace.
(chorus)
I know I should go
But I follow you like a man possessed
There's a traitor here beneath my breast
And it hurts me than you've ever guessed
If my heart could beat it would break my chest
But I can see you're unimpressed
So leave me be
And let me rest in peace
(chorus)
Why won't you let me rest in peace
