"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes—and ships—and sealing-wax—
Of cabbages—and kings—
And why the sea is boiling hot—
And whether pigs have wings."

—Through the Looking-Glass
I hate doing this part. it's always aucward to try and write about ones self. My name's Holly and i'm a born and bread Alaskan. Many things intrest me. included in the list is astrology, writting, art, herbology and philosophy.
i write a bit of poetry. it's one of my favorite things to do. i'm always told it's angry but i find it beautiful. have you every had that wonderful feeling when you've created something to true to the form you wished of it that you can't help but sit back and smile? well, that's how i feel after writting.
she shows you what you want to see
so nothing is truely known
with locks of ash and skin of cream
this girl walks through the world
for trails and trials have shaped her thus
and nothing can be unmade
keep your hatred keep your trust
and blame ye not the shade
for the shade hath held her
and gave her a home
of dark to wrap about her
with lightening toung and loving heart
she'll twist the world around her
so sleep ye angels and weep ye not
for the girl you thaught you lost
she isn't gone no she isn't dead
this girl now made of frost
a woman she once was
for a husband she had claimed
and the husband had given her
the ending of his name
but stitchs, if sewn too tight
will eventually ruin the cloth
now the dress and veil are torn to shreds
her old world now is dead
and that is when the night came in
and welcomed this lonely girl in
so here she stands for all to see
and yet you still know nothing of me
i love corsets. everything about them is wonderful. the way it holds you is like a lovers embrace, so strong, so sure. and remember, it is not kindness to hold losely one who whishes to be held firm.

i have a pretty simple philosophy on friends and life...if it floats your boat it floats your boat. i'm not in your boat. i'm not floating down your river. i'm good.
also i feel it is wrong for any person to try and make others feel/think/act in a way which does not mesh with their inner being. i like to think that all people have to right to do/think as they will. now with that said, i will not always want to hear your openion because of the vast diffrence in the way we feel on one subject or another, but if you are able to be respectful of my beleifs whilest having a conversation i will do the same for you and yours. then we will be able to talk on many a topic.

i have always craved knowledge as far back as i can remember and have come to learn that the best way to gain it is to listen to those elders who never seem to speak. why is this? it's simply the fact that they find no point in speaking of things that lack matter. there for when they do speak, it holds some form of importance and if you are lucky enough to get them to speak freely, the wisdome flows. so don't forget, respect your elders for they hold the essence of life it's self in their memories.
