The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I've never really been a fan of poetry. For some reason it has never really appealed to my artistic senses. That being said, Oscar Wilde is one of my all time favorite authors and a very few of his poems have spoken to me and I've thoroughly enjoyed them. I believe that has more to do with my understanding of the life Mr. Wilde lead and the context in which the poem was to be received rather than the poem itself. I much preferred the novels and short stories Oscar wrote...and I wasn't much interested in his plays. Other than that...poetry was just not something I found myself interested in...with another notable exception. When I was younger I had an account on a site for book worms such as myself, and I noticed a book in my list of recommendations generated by the site based on my past reads...this book was titled "leave myself behind." I really enjoyed this book, and in the book the narrator has an affinity for a specific poem by a specific poet. That poem really stood out to me, and to this day it is my favorite poem.... This is that poem:

"Evil is unspectacular and always human,
And shares our bed and eats at our own table,
And we are introduced to Goodness every day,
Even in drawing-rooms among a crowd of faults;
He has a name like Billy and is almost perfect
But wears a stammer like a decoration;
And every time they meet the same thing has to happen;
It is the Evil that is helpless like a lover
And has to pick a quarrel and succeeds,
And both are openly destroyed before our eyes."

I'm not quite sure why...but that specific excerpt from that particular poem resonates with me on a personal level. I suppose it's because...in quite a few ways I am that "evil" that has to be petty and start a fight...that ruins a good thing. That's a really personal thing to admit...but I don't suppose that matters. You don't know me, and this is just...a website after all.
Who am I? I'm no one important. I'm just, well I'm not much. I'm a person that enjoys a few certain things, and just isn't happy about much or all that often. I enjoy a few things. I love to read a good book. I enjoy a hot cup of coffee first thing in the morning, but since I've gotten sick...it's mostly just hot milk and sugar with maybe a tea spoon of coffee haha. I'm an artist. I don't make any money from it, but it keeps my hands busy and my mind distracted. These things are important. I spend a lot of time drawing, and have tasked myself with filling as many sketchbooks as I can. I've taken up painting after setting that hobby to the side for a few years. I also happen to spend a lot of time watching videos online, anything from the Channels set up online by favorite television networks to those top 15 videos that always have scary content. I absolutely love the multitude of videos/entertainment found online.
I have other interests that stem beyond those few mentioned. I love...religion, philosophy, myth and legend...the occult. I have derived my own thought process, or way of believing stemming from my specific interests. I've also come to my own conclusion about man...but it's a bit early in the game to divulge much more than this. Maybe...maybe more is to come soon.
Mostly, right now at this point in my life...I'm just not a happy person.
