My name is Ash or Lily. I'm in love with the best guy in the whole entire universe and he loves me too. We both have old souls I think and we are so good together. I am married now (june 16th 2012) and finally living together not too far from base in VA. So happy I am with him.

I love the series Harry Potter so much. I started reading the books in 6th grade and watching the movies as they came out. JK Rowling is one of the most influential people to me. Her writings have made me want to be a writer. When I was younger I hated reading and writing because I couldn't do it as well as everyone else and it was just really difficult. But after I started reading her books, I became hooked and now I am an English Major. In my senior year of high school I took 6 English classes instead of just the mandatory 2 classes everyone else took. I am very grateful for her! Two of my high school English teachers also helped me love writing even more; my Irish lit/video analysis teacher Mr.White and my lit of Horror teacher Mr. Daley.

Besides reading and writing, I am fascinated with witch craft and vampires. Of coarse I don't know half the things about either of them. I like to learn things I am interested in, when I am not so interested I tend to not learn so well. I like the idea of nature spirits and more than one god/goddess over the idea of one all powerful god like so many others. I have always been fascinated with vampires ever since I was a young child. although I am not in tune with it as much as I use to. I will love to learn a few things if any of you are willing to share your knowledge on either subject.

I use to always be attracted to the darker individuals, but unfortunately all the ones in the past i have been with have abused me in some way (mental or physical). I don't know why I let myself get into those situations. Maybe it was the lack of self esteem and thought i deserved to be hurt. whatever it was it did form me into a better person. I have learned to use my past to make me a stronger person and a better writer. My favorite poet to whom I always seemed to relate to is Edgar Allan Poe. His dark poems touched me in ways other poets I have read haven't even come close to. He is the dark angel who puts the wings beneath the wings that Rowling have given me.

Also I happen to be a big animal lover. I am such a sucker for all kinds. It is so hard for me to got to a animal place and not want to adopt an animal or all. haha. I have two 1 year old cats named Amelia and Sebastian that are my crazy lovable babies. Before I moved out of my parents house I use to take care of four dogs (boxer, golden retriever, and a black & chocolate lab), a sun conure, and 3 cats (my two and another huge boy named blue). My mother is a dog walker/ pet sitter for a living and my grandfather was a horse jockey/ blacksmith up until he broke his hip when he was 78 years old. So I can kind of say loving animals is in my blood. WELL! If you want to know more about me just ask, I can be quite friendly if you give me the chance :)
