I am very facinated with all forms of mythology and mythical creaters, I have have taken a liking to Nymphs and found myself to be more like them then ever before, I feel as if I am one within they're family and kind. I have looked closely towards Lotis and found myself much like her in more ways than one, as well as Acaste :)

I am a blue collar worker, literally...lol no not comedy, I work in a meat department and I have to wear a blue collar shirt where I work....LOL :)
I have made some great friends on here these past 6 years and I wouldnt change anything. I love these people like family and Im glad I was finally able to make both of these accounts Premium. However once my year is up on Senet, she is going Lifetime and Acaste when she is up may no longer be premium....lol however I may change my mind on this one :) I made Acaste to show a different side of me, a side most dont get to see, and dont know. I didnt make it to change Covens, friends or anything, I made it cause what would be the point of continuesly changing my main profile when I love it just the way it is :)

In Greek mythology, Nymphs were spirits of nature. Even though they were female divinities of lower rank, still they were revered as the protectors of springs, mountains, grottoes, trees, the sea and rivers. The Greeks peopled all parts of nature with them and portrayed Nymphs as young, pretty girls, each subtype presiding over whichever aspect of nature they represented.
Depending of where they resided, the Nymphs are as follows: *Dryads (forests)*, Naiads (springs and rivers), Nereids (the Mediterranean), *Oceanids (the sea)* and Oreads (mountains), Limoniads (meadows), Limniads (lakes, marshes and swamps), Meliads (ash-trees), Epimeliads (protectors of sheep) and Napaea (valleys and glens). There are more categories of Nymphs, the names varying according to the ancient sources.
Though living for many years, Nymphs are nevertheless fated to die, even though some of them talk and carry on as if they were immortal. The sacrifices offered to Nymphs very often consisted of lambs, goats, milk and oil, but never of wine. They were worshipped in a nymphaeum, a monumental fountain which was raised in the vicinity of a well. The male counterpart of a nymph is the Satyr.
Another name for a water Nymph is a Mermaid. I love mermaids. I find them very intreging. All those myths and legends of Mermaids from all times up until now, they're all great. Mermaids are mysterious and unique.
