Vampiric Fantasy
All my life I've dreamed of him,
My vampire lover from long ago.
In my dreams he visits me,
So my nights are never alone.
Night agter night, he comes to me,
Hungery, not only for blood, but for my heart.
Locked in his embrace, I find peace,
Though I fear the dawn for he departs.
When daylight comes, and I awaken,
I sill taste the blood on my lips,
Yet again I wake alone,
But I still hunger for his kiss.
Is he really real, or just imagination?
That I may never know.
Does it really even matter,
As long as he never goes?
As long as he keeps coming to me,
Keeps loving me in his dark way,
Than that is the only reality
That even matters anyway.
