Universal song - Resonance, magic and you.

Introduction:

It is important that we have a basic understanding of resonance, in order achieve harmony with our inner and outer environment. True symbolist and ritualistic magic is the art of integrating science and spirituality and discovering scientific reality behind all magic.

So you want to partake in ritual magic?

Take a close look at the objects you choose.

The resonance of any color or symbol you choose needs careful consideration, as many magic symbols are geometric representations of resonance.

Where there is vibration, there is resonance, right down to the analogous resonance that exists at the nuclear level. It occurs when atoms or their nuclei respond to the application of various magnetic fields by emitting, or absorbing electromagnetic radiation of radio and microwave frequencies.

Resonance in electrical systems makes it possible for certain communication devices to accept signals at certain frequencies while at the same time, rejecting others. This also happens on the bio-electric level.

Resonance can occur between different types of vibrations, as in between color and sound. These harmonics can be dangerous or ineffective in a ritual if you do not get them right, so this is an extremely important aspect of your magic.

So many do not look into this, therefore experience a high failure rate.

Color is an electromagnetic vibration that can transfer energy in a vacuum, yet without a medium to act as a carrier. Sound waves (compression waves) are a lot slower than light waves but nonetheless, just as powerful.

Try to think of color as music. You can have resonance between colors too, like we have resonance between two notes. If you put a green object here and a green object there, they enter into a harmonic resonance from concordant assimilation. For instance, five different people wearing green will create a certain energy resonance. Different shades of green would resonate the same notes, only in different octaves. This is an important aspect when considering what harmonic you are wishing to create. As you add symbols, you create resonance with geometrical shapes.

It is the same concept when using metals in a ritual. This is why Alchemy is such a guarded and important aspect of magic.

Something to consider when choosing a symbol or drawing one, is that similar shapes have similar energy movements around their peripheries. This gives all types of boundaries a certain type of power. Even in our bodies, there is resonant interaction between organs, thus the similarities in their shapes. This energy interaction by resonance creates bio-communication.

When we enter into using the language of shape, it is essential that we understand some of the rules. If it is your decision to use symbols and colour, it’s important to find the correct harmonic combinations between symbol, colours and sound.
