Profiles
Profile Rating and Comments
If you are logged into Vampire Rave you may rate and comment upon all Vampire Rave profiles. You'll find a rating/comment window at the base of a Vampire Rave profile.
To leave a comment, you must leave a rating. Comments are optional and not required when rating a profile.
You may only rate/comment upon a single profile once. You may change your rating or comment for a profile at any time.
A valid rating is between 1 and 10 with 1 being the lowest score and 10 being the highest. How you choose to rate a profile is totally up to you. Different members will have different criteria for profile rating.
When you rate a profile, it will have more weight the higher your status level. Your rating weight is directly proportional to your status level. If you are level 10 your rating is worth ten times that of a level 1 member. If you are level 100, your rating is worth 10 times more than a level 10 member.
A profile's rating average is the total average of all ratings.
Stamping
Vampire Rave is set up in this fashion to encourage unique commenting and to discourage members from posting frivolous repetitive comments. However, if a member is premium, he/she can set up a custom stamp. This stamp can be used on any comment field throughout Vampire Rave except within the Vampire Database.

Blocking
If a member has blocked you, you can rate but cannot comment on their Profile.
Anonymity
By default ratings are anonymous. A member will not see what you rated their profile regardless as to whether or not you also leave a comment. Premium members are an exception to this rule. Premium members can view all of the ratings for their profile and who left each rating. |
