In April or May, when Rosemary is in season, choose pliable, willowy stems and

bind them together into the shape of a heart. Form a mental image of the one you

wish for.

Then secure the rosemary heart with a yellow ribbon and if you have any threads

from your partner's clothes or strands of hair, wave these in to create a

stronger vibrational link. If your desired one is born under Aries, weave in a

few strands of wool too. Place the rosemary heart in a white envelope and put it

under your pillow. Before you sleep, repeat the words:

The rosemary will dry with time and its life force will fade. When you feel your

Light a green candle. Let it burn for five minutes, then extinguish the flame.

Rub your hands in the smoke and imagine money coming to you.

The cone of power is a vortex of magickal energy which is raised within a circle

by one or more witches working for the same goal.



One of the most common methods of power raising is dancing. Tradition dictates

that one dance deosil (clockwise) for spells of increase or attraction, and

widdershins (counterclockwise) for decreasing or banishing spells.



Start the dance at a steady pace using whatever music you wish as an

accompaniment. Then slowly begin to speed up the pace, continuing in this manner

until you can feel the mass of energy raised above you. Then, concentrating on

the goal, release the energy to go to where it is needed.

If you believe that a spell has been cast against you, place a large black

candle in a cauldron (or a large black bowl). The candle must be tall enough to

extend a few inched above the cauldron's rim. Affix the candle to the bottom of

the cauldron with warmed beeswax or the drippings of another black candle so

that it will not tip over.



Fill the cauldron to the rim with fresh water, without wetting the candle's

wick. An inch or two of the candle should remain above the water. Deep

breathe, meditate, clear your mind, and light the candle. Visualize the

suspected spell's power as residing within the candle's flame. Sit in quiet

contemplation of the candle and visualize the power flowing and growing with

the candle's flame (yes the power against you). As the candle burns down, its

flame will eventually sputter and go out as it contacts the water. As soon as

the flame has been extinguished by the water, the spell will be dispersed.



Break your visualization of the spell's power; see it explode into dust,

becoming impotent.



Pour the water into a hole in the ground, a lake or stream. Bury the candle.

It is done.

Get some lilac or roses and pull off petals and drop into water (rainwater if

possible) chant "water that falls from the sky above, flowers that grow from the

earth below bring your beauty upon me" Chant till flowers are all in the water

do everyday till you feel prettier. Splash your face with the water also when

you are done.

Take three cords or strings of various, pleasing pastel colors- perhaps pink,

red, and green- and braid them tightly together. Firmly tie a knot near one end

of the braid, thinking of your need for love.



Next, tie another knot, and another, until you have tied seven knots. Wear or

carry the cord with you until you find your love.



After that, keep the cord in a safe place, or give to one of the elements- burn

and scatter the ashes in the ocean or in a stream.

This spell needs to be done alongside flowing water - I suggest in a private

corner surrounded by bushes at the side of a stream. Create your circle. Cup a

black stone in your hands and raise it to your forehead, concentrate and send

all your anger into the stone. Do this for as long as you can until you can do

it no longer, then hurl the stone with all your might into the water and say:



"With this stone Anger be gone

Water bind it No-one find it!"



Place your palms upon the ground for a few moments to earth the power and allow

your circle to fade. Now go home and take care of yourself for you may feel

depleted for a while, but you will be better. Alternatively, you may feel great

straight away.
