Ex hitler youth calls hitler an atheist? Hmm...Wasn't he paying attention?

Another post says: 1. The nazi party was, by it's own constitution, founded on "positive Christianity"

And now finally, lets have a quote - mine.

"It is Christians and not international atheists who now stand at the head of Germany. I do not merely talk of Christianity, no, I also profess that I will never ally myself with the parties which destroy Christianity" - adolf hitler, 1933

I think it's more complicated than it would appear, due to the contradictions between his public speeches & writing, and his private conversations with Nazi insiders.

For example; he also said this (privately):

13th December, 1941:

Christianity is an invention of sick brains: one could imagine nothing more senseless, nor any more indecent way of turning the idea of the Godhead into a mockery.... .... When all is said, we have no reason to wish that the Italians and Spaniards should free themselves from the drug of Christianity. Let's be the only people who are immunised against the disease.

I don't know what he was, but at times he certainly didn't seem very fond of Christianity. Yet he saw it as a necessary tool to win the support of the German people.

just my two cents.

Exactly Thoth.. but yet the Vatican never reacted...but remember of course, that the Vatican did excommunicate one nazi—Goebbels. If anyone is reading this and know why they did that it would be interesting to know.

This photograph taken by hubby was selected for entry into a national American photographic competition. Out of all the entries the photo below which was taken with his Canon G11 pocket camera won 7th place! Some of his photographic work has also been shown live on UTV television prior to the weather forecast being announced. Anyway, here is the one... as I said before not his best work by any means. A tripod was not used and the G11 was in auto mode.

We watched Predators 2010 tonight...and I was riveted the entire movie. I don't know what is about the Predator movies but I really enjoy them :).

We are thinking of going down to Co Galway this weekend, but it is all dependent on the weather as we intend to climb Croagh Patrick mountain again. It will be chilly on the summit because of the height of the mountain but the view and peace you feel will be well worth the effort! Well, we will see but if its raining, well forget it.

My work is almost all caught up on, another few days should leave me all good! Louise is going to come Saturday when I am away, (if we get to go) and tidy up some loose admin things. Then, I am set!

Can't wait to get to the Carribbean.. The time is getting closer!

I am all done out with this rating and adding lark. If i stick at Venerable Sire for the rest of my days here, then so be it. Whatever. All that rating and adding stuff is just devaluing and cheaping the experience of Vampire Rave for me. I'm done with it.

Puking on your keyboard could be an alternative.. The keys may stick after and make it even more heavier going Red! No, to get the results i would like Ice, i have to be obsessive about the site..and after six years of being here.. I aint going to start that now! Besides, i havent really got the time unless i give something else up in my life and that isn't going to happen.

I do have an idea though lol, except this time the kids are big now and wont take lollipops for rating! *blows Guy a kiss* missed you manO :) wb

I went to the gym today.. The first time in a few weeks because of my old arm injury returning, and that leaves me incapable of doing weights.

However, today was good. I managed a hour session of spin/rpm, and a hour of weights with Steve. We didn't push the bar up to the usual 20 kgs, since I am just getting into regaining my arm strength again but it felt real good to be back at the gym after a 3 or 4 week absence.

I am considering joining a rambling association this winter for hillclimbing.. If there is anyone here who has climbed Ben Nevis please message me! ThaNks

Sometimes I feel like I am living in a surreal world as my summations and actions arising from those are not the same as they were, even as recently as four years ago. This has been contradictory in some ways as I tended to be more subjective in the past, but as a business woman I do have to be shrewd, factual, have verifiable evidence and be committed to my chosen profession. No doubt, that has been life changing.

However, it has had its pitfalls.. I tend not to be passionate anymore, nor do I write anymore. Those of you who have hung around here as long as I have, will know just how I adored to read and write and without meaning to sound conceited, those writings were enjoyed by many.

Sighs, I miss that side of me. I remember writing 'novels' with two friends of mines in England.. my Mordred :) (and if you are ever reading this.. yes I still do have the dragons eye you sent me and wear it often.)

Imagination is a powerful entity; it brought me what I have today along with the input of hard work but the sacrifice of that imagination has been that an essence of me is scattered in the wind like ashes. That is why I say living feels surreal at times, as if I am acting out a part in another life...paradoxically strange.

I think on the face of things that America have been very tolerant in the aftermath of 9/11. It would seem that the combined forces of the USA and the UK should be more belligerent in getting their man... Osama Bin Laden has been wanted for too long now to stand and answer to America as a nation.

Eeer, and no I don't believe a mosque should be put on the site, or near the site of destruction as some of the fanatically religious people would only see it as a shrine to triumph.

Vampire Rave

11:31 Sep 05 2010
Times Read: 1,729

Back in the now hazy days of the inception of Vampire Rave six years ago, there just wasn't any flaming of members in the journals. Like real life when people start to arrive en-mass there has to be control and so the post of Sentoran was invented to monitor the contents of a members profile, portfolio and journal. Hence we have censorship, and in the eyes of the law that is always good to have rules to follow.

Nowadays, it seems that flaming other members is disguised in an underhand way which without doubt speaks volumes of the character of the writer. Flaming also appears to be a daily ritual by some members, and others who do it infrequently.

For myself, I follow the terms of service and always have done, and if there is a problem with another member we normally sort it out via private messaging to reach a conclusion instead of publicising it in our journals. Unless of course they want the world to know about it.... and are attention seeking.

People who do publicise only want support for their negativity, but whilst trying to humiliate the person they are writing about they do not realise they are only humiliating themselves by taking that inappropriate action.

As well written as that is. Sometimes thongs just won't be worked out by either, or just one part of the conflict. But also the journals are an area where we can express ourselves, even anger. Some do it wisely, some brashly, and others most foolishly.

Well, Pandy this will show you what make believe can do hehehe!

A Stockholm couple have been fined by a district court for disorderly conduct after they were reported for having simulated sex on their patio, reports local newspaper Mitt-i-Södermalm.

The couple were fined 800 kronor ($112) by Stockholm District Court after a neighbourly feud left the faux-amorous couple feeling the long arms of the law.

In court testimony the couple admitted that they had engaged in simulated sex on the patio of their apartment on Södermalm in central Stockholm last August in an attempt to deliberately provoke a neighbouring family.

The pair told the court that their open-air sexual workout was a form of revenge on their neighbours who they claimed regularly hosted loud and rowdy parties.

The court ruling now establishes that sex, make believe or otherwise, is not legal on one's balcony or patio, and that it can lead to consequences when conducted in full view of the neighbours.
