The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I am off at the weekend for a laid back luxury stop at the Icehouse Hotel at the Quay, Ballina, Co. Mayo! We just decided last night as I need to chill! Work has been chaotic recently.



It seems to be a fabulous hotel, and has lovely long windows overlooking the River Moy in the bedrooms. What a gorgeous view to wake up too..and breakfast is served in bed! Can't get better than that and I can't wait to have a hot chocolate with marshmallow in the hot tubs outside! Or a seaweed bath, and massage in my room.. I am so spoiled rotten, but I am loving it! heh.

This is what I always wanted, practised and encouraged for VR .. competitions! everyone loves them..and the benefits are the site gains popularity. Huzzzah! now where is dem bats..!



btw, I haven't made this entry private..maybe the one above ;)

Surely it is obvious that if someone keeps blocking people after rating their profile that, that says quite loudly they don't want anyone rating their profile or they are waiting like a spider for someone to stray into their web so they can attack? To me it would be an intelligent observation to stay the hell clear if you don't want a block or whatever.



After all.. there is not any rule to say that blocks are limited so until that changes they stay VR legal.

Hubby took me out for a Valentines dinner last night which was really a wonderful gastronomic eating experience with the exception of one hiccup...



I thought venison was the meat of a pheasant...(call it dunderheadia heh) but it was really the meat of a Deer.



Worse still he thought it was best to tell me that after I ate it! I just can't get over the fact I ate deer last night.. poor beautiful little deer. I feel sick, really, real sick.



I adore haute cuisine with fresh foods.. with the exception of the deer last night the food served was really exceptional and a reason why eating out is a good idea every now then. I deplore going out for a meal and being served frozen, convenience, or deep fried food.



Last nights meal was special... :)

Would you do it? I tried to make an internet purchase yesterday but the login page to my paypal account contained unauthenticated content and was unsecured (padlock open too) just at log in to my account at Paypal. So when my computer flashed up warnings and particularly when logging into something as sensitive as a bank account maybe I should just listen to what it is telling me...

The thing is.. to ensure you have up to-date software that can easily identify possible security breaches such as the browser I currently run:-

looked up Paypal's advice before going to customer services..



"Always log into Paypal by opening a new browser window and typing in the following : https://www.paypal.com. If a url looks suspicious, don't click it"

I went to see the, "The Edge of Darkness" at the cinema earilier this evening. Mel Gibson's acting was commendable and the story line was strong. I loved the way the movie ended and I would really recommend this film if you enjoy thrillers.

What is it with some people around here! Man are some people sensitive! I'd just went to a profile to return a rate a chick left me and it stretched the frames on my computer screen. But, not to be unkind I returned the rate she left (8) and now a generous 7 for the block and stuff) and for that and leaving a message I would re-rate when she updates she calls in her friend to downrate my profile and gets him to put me on block as well as herself! Just now innane is that! I'm witholding i.d. for their privacy, but it is just dissapointing that members can't take back what they give.. Ces la vie the old VR thing... sighs.

Beats me I cant figure it out either. Hell some chick left a 7 on my port and I still went and rated her a 10 - the one who rated me a 5 she got an 8 from both my profiles - it isnt worth bitching about. But yeah, they shouldnt bitch or get their panties in a knot because you give them back the same rating they gave you - how you rate is your prerogative. Thats the way Cancer intended it to be.
